NY Gypsy Festival- 5 Years arrives with five shows from Sept 11th through 26th celebrating half a decade of daring programming

Natalie Joy Johnson, currently starring as Paulette in Legally Blonde at the Pantages Theatre, brings her popular club act to Upright Cabaret for its West Coast premiere, after sold out engagements at Joe's Pub, the Cutting Room, Feinstein's and Ars Nova. Natalie's act harkens back to a time when the great ladies of show business entertained every night in swanky, smoky rooms.

The inaugural season of the New York Chamber Music Festival (http://www.newyorkchambermusicfestival.org) will take place September 13-20, 2009 at Symphony Space (2537 Broadway at 95th St ).

TOMMY FEMIA, the 7-time Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs (MAC) Award-winning impersonator, kicks off his 20th season at the popular midtown club Don't Tell Mama, 343 West 46th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues), with his acclaimed portrayal of the legendary Judy Garland in 'JUDY GARLAND LIVE!' with two shows a month beginning with a special preview on Monday, September 21 at 6:30 p.m. and the official opening on Saturday, September 26 at 8:30 p.m.

Celebrated pianist, songwriter, arranger, producer, Crescent City's own Allen Toussaint will be the headliner for Lincoln Center Out of Doors' 'Roots of American Music' concert in Damrosch Park on Saturday, August 22.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) is pleased to announce the full cast for Ordinary Days, a new musical with Music & Lyrics by Adam Gwon, directed by Marc Bruni. Ordinary Days will feature Lisa Brescia as 'Claire,' Hunter Foster as 'Jason,' Jared Gertner as 'Warren' and Kate Wetherhead as 'Deb.' This production marks the first musical presented in the Black Box Theatre.

Fresh from the January 2009 inaugural working-visit to South Africa, the new not-for-profit Broadway in South Africa announces its Second Annual Benefit Concert. This star-studded evening will feature a guest performance by South African hit recording artist and producer Sipho 'Hotstix' Mabuse. Like the first, this concert will also feature world-premiere songs created by Broadway and New York composers, like Jeff Bowen, performed by Broadway stars like Shoshana Bean and Eden Espinosa. Through the support of honorary chairs and board members, like award-winning singer-songwriter-actress Deborah Cox, this benefit concert will raise awareness of and celebrate the work Broadway in South Africa does to provide artistic and educational opportunities for underprivileged youth. The concert will take place on Monday, October 5, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. at Peter Norton Symphony Space, located at 2537 Broadway at 95th Street. VIP guests will enjoy pre- and post-concert events.

The Insights & Revelations Performance Series, is delighted to be in residence at The Emelin Theatre of Mamaroneck for the 2009/2010 season. There, the Series will present a wide range of sneak previews and behind-the-scenes looks at New York City's finest off-Broadway companies, with its signature moderated artist discussion and reception following each performance.
