Clarinetist David Krakauer, praised internationally for his astounding ability to play in a myriad of music genres with 'prodigious chops' (The New Yorker) and 'soulfulness and electrifying showiness' (The New York Times) will present Krakauer Plays Zorn, on Sunday, October 2 at 8pm at Drom (85 Avenue A, NYC).

ComposersCollaborative, inc. will present 110 for 911, an extended solo composition for speaking pianist and electronics by pianist, composer and CCi Artistic Director Jed Distler.

On Monday August 29th, 2011, Jonathan Reid Gealt and Matt Hinkley team up to bring you an evening of songs to raise money for Broadway Impact. Suffolk University and Boston Playwrights' Theatre present Robert Brustein's Mortal Terror, directed by Daniela Varon from September 15 through October 2 at the Modern Theatre at Suffolk University, 525 Washington Street, Boston.

His debut pop album "GOODTIMENATION," and intimate follow-up EP, "Quiet," were both written and recorded with long time collaborator, Robbie Roth. Daniel Reichard, Christian Hoff, J. Robert Spencer and Michael Longoria - the quartet of remarkable performers known collectively as The Midtown Men - are perhaps best known for their musical evocations of the best guy groups of the 1950s and 1960s, thanks to their previous starmaking turns in Broadway's Jersey Boys and their current concert tour, bringing their special brand of repartee, music and friendship to audiences all over North America. Theater for the New City's second Dream Up Festival, an annual festival of new works from across the country and abroad, will offer premieres of three choreographed productions: 'M. - Solo for Three Minds (Dialogues with Marcel Proust),' devised and performed by Miloš Sofrenovic, text re-translated and spoken by Sheila Sofrenovic (August 19 to 26); 'own, Owned,' choreographed by Jesse Phillips-Fein (August 24 to 28) and 'I Don't Have a Title Yet!' by Regina Nejman (August 14 to 21).
