The Wooster Group announces a one-week extension to their advance showings of THE ROOM by Harold Pinter at The Performing Garage in New York City. This limited engagement offers New York audiences an advance look at the Group's newest production before it opens in Los Angeles at REDCAT, February 4-14, 2016. Dixon Place's new dance commission and the feath3r theory's production of, COLOR ME, WARHOL, will have its world premiere on April 10th. Conceived, choreographed and directed by Raja Feather Kelly, this piece is the latest installment of an ongoing series jump-started by Mr. Kelly's interest in Andy Warhol, pop culture, and identity. COLOR ME, WARHOL will play six performances only -- April 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th, and 25th at 7:00PM, at Dixon Place (161A Chrystie Street).

St. Ann's Warehouse, which has long provided a second New York home for The Wooster Group, will present two new works by the company this spring: the New York Premiere of Cry, Trojans! (Troilus & Cressida), March 24 - April 19; and a remounting of Early Shaker Spirituals: A Record Album Interpretation, April 23 - May 4. Both runs are strictly limited and cannot be extended. The upcoming engagement marks both The Wooster Group's first performances at the St. Ann's Warehouse interim theater at 29 Jay Street in DUMBO, and St. Ann's final presentation in the space, before the organization moves to its permanent home in the historic Tobacco Warehouse in Brooklyn Bridge Park this fall.

Dixon Place's new production, THE ABSOLUTE BRIGHTNESS OF LEONARD PELKEY, will begin previews Saturday, February 7th, and open on Sunday, February 22nd at 6:00 PM. Based on his best-selling novel, the show features critically acclaimed, Emmy nominated and award-winning storyteller James Lecesne, who portrays the life and characters of a Jersey Shore town where a young boy goes missing. The play is directed by Tony Speciale, with visuals by Matthew Sandager and incidental music by Duncan Sheik, some of which will be released in his new record "Legerdemain" in April 2015. THE ABSOLUTE BRIGHTNESS OF LEONARD PELKEY will run through March 28th at Dixon Place (161 Chrystie Street). Dixon Place will present a world premiere of Creatures of Habit, choreographed by Jonathan Royse Windham to original music composed by Daniel Kazemi. Mr. Windham was recently named one of Dance Magazine's '25 to Watch.' Creatures of Habit will play for three weekends beginning tonight, October 3rd through Saturday, October 18th.

Dixon Place presents new work every month -- theater, puppetry, performance and visual art, music, dance and literature -- at all stages of development. This Fall, Dixon Place will present new-works-in-progress written and performed by current Artist-in-Residence David Cale. On Thursday evenings this month -- September 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th at 7:30pm -- Cuz I Just Got To Be Me...Free, a series of workshop performances that feature unfettered new songs, monologues and stories -- each evening a different 45-minute set -- will be performed in The Dixon Place Lounge.
