Kelly, Douglas, Lewis, Weldon Cast In CROWNS At Ebony Rep 5/5-6/14

The Ebony Repertory Theatre is proud to announce casting for the Los Angeles premiere of CROWNS, adapted by Regina Taylor from the book by Michael Cunningham and Craig Marberry. Debuting as a co-production with Pasadena Playhouse, the show will star Emmy® nominee Paula Kelly, Suzzanne Douglas, Dawnn Lewis, Ann Weldon, Sharon Catherine Blanks, Angela Wildflower Polk and Clinton Derricks-Carroll, with direction by Ebony Repertory Theatre Artistic Director Israel Hicks.

Producers Emily Miller and New York Theatre Barn have announced that Tony Award-Winner Cady Huffman (The Producers, The Will Rogers Follies) will star in WOOD, which is an official selection of the upcoming 2008 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

'The Women of Brewster Place' Premieres at Arena Stage

The world premiere of Tim Acito's musical adaptation of Gloria Naylor's novel, The Women of Brewster Place, opens at Arena Stage after its successful co-production run at Atlanta's Alliance Theatre. The Women of Brewster Place runs October 19 - December 9 in the Kreeger Theater; Opening performance is Friday, October 26 at 8PM.
