Lifetime's DANCE MOMS to Feature Music by Rachael Sage in Season 4

Music by singer-songwriter and former ballet dancer Rachael Sage has been featured in Lifetime Network's popular reality show "Dance Moms" in the season premiere on January 1st, New Years Day, and will also be featured later in the season.

The South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) today announced the ambitious performance schedule for January - May 2014. From Grammy Award- winners such as Paula Cole to guitar legends including Johnny Winter to a night of comedy with Jay Mohr, SOPAC's 2014 season sates every artistic appetite. With a nod to sounds of Americana, SOPAC serves a heaping of national folk treasures in a robust singer/songwriter concert series. As always, SOPAC welcomes its ongoing Juilliard @ SOPAC classical concert series as well as the Jazz in the LOFT and the Blues in the LOFT series.

Lake Street Dive to Play Zankel Hall, 2/7

On Friday, February 7 at 10:00 p.m., Lake Street Dive brings its mix of soul, folk, and jazz to Zankel Hall as part of the ninth annual WFUV Live at Zankel concert series. The band, composed of drummer Mike Calabrese, bassist Bridget Kearney, vocalist Rachael Price, and trumpet-wielding guitarist Mike "McDuck" Olson will perform original songs from their forthcoming album, Bad Self Portraits, which is to be released on February 18, 2014. The quartet's previous albums have included fresh takes on popular songs (Fun Machine, released in 2012); a live album and concert-film (Live at the Lizard Lounge, released in 2011); and 2010's self-titled debut album of original songs. "It seems the only limitation we have," Kearney explains, "is that we try to make music that we would like listening to."

MAD ABOUT ART, Fountain Gallery's Annual Art Auction and Benefit, will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2013, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Cedar Lake, located at 547 West 26th Street in Manhattan. This year's event is “A Black and White Affair,” featuring striking black and white décor; the 500 guests expected to attend are requested to wear black and white cocktail attire. One hundred original artworks will be presented at auction to benefit the member-artists of Fountain Gallery, New York City's premier venue representing artists living with mental illness. Singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega is the special musical guest.
