As previously reported, the cast of PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT will be performing the show stopper 'It's Raining Men' at the Tony Awards ceremony on Sunday, June 12. The performance will be broadcast as part of the ceremony on CBS. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the rehearsal run with special guest performers Paul Shaffer (who wrote the tune) and Martha Wash (the song's original songstress). THE LEAGUE OF BROADWAY SUPER FRIENDS - a five-part harmony-singing group featuring Broadway's brightest stars and biggest talents, held their inaugural concert on Tuesday, June 7. At the event, Kelli O'Hara, Lindsay Mendez, Gavin Creel, Greg Naughton and Sherie Rene Scott performed at Le Poisson Rouge, to raise funds in the fight against Pancreatic Cancer.
