The Hub Network, a destination for kids and their families, will feature holiday programming the whole family can enjoy together throughout the month of December.

The Spelman College Museum of Fine Art is the first institution in the Southeast to present the nationally touring exhibition, 'Posing Beauty in African American Culture.' Featuring more than 75 photographs by leading, emerging, and amateur photographers, 'Posing Beauty' explores ways contemporary understanding of beauty has been informed by the works of photographers and artists dating from 1890 to the present. The exhibition will be on view today, Sept. 5 through Dec. 7, 2013. The exhibition is curated by Deborah Willis, Ph.D., one of the nation's leading historians of African-American photography.

This September, a cast of Hollywood stars will take the stage for special ensemble readings of Act 1 of Surviving Grace, an original play penned by comedy writer Trish Vradenburg ('Designing Women,' 'Family Ties,' 'Kate and Allie'), co-founder of USAgainstAlzheimer's a national advocacy organization committed to stopping Alzheimer's by 2020. Based on Trish's experience as a caregiver to her mother who died of Alzheimer's in 1992, Surviving Grace is a brutally honest, irreverent and moving story laced with humor that sheds light on the emotional ups and downs that 15.4 million Alzheimer's caregivers go through each day in the U.S. The play comes to California after being produced at The Kennedy Center, off-Broadway, cross-country and in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The first star-studded reading was at The Phillips Collection in Washington, DC last fall.

A hilarious musical revue titled Ain't Retirement Grand plays in Clearwater for one weekend only starting today, May 24. The lighthearted show pokes fun at retirement in Florida. The songs and patter cover the full range of topics that concern the over-55s -- wills, doctors, pets, early-bird specials, and 'getting up off the couch occasionally.'

The world premiere of renowned choreographer Ronald K. Brown's 'On Earth Together' inspired by the music of Stevie Wonder at the Joyce Theater was met with thunderous applause and a standing ovation for the electrifying performance of Brown's acclaimed troupe.
