Mendocino Theatre Company presents OUTSIDE MULLINGAR.

Mendocino Theatre Company concludes its 40th anniversary season with the delightfully quirky love story, Outside Mullingar. Written by award-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley, author of Doubt and Moonstruck, the play is directed by Lorry Lepaule and runs November 2 to December 3, 2017 on MTC's Helen Schoeni stage.

The premier International Human Rights Art Festival, New York City's first arts-advocacy festival of its kind, will be presented by The Institute of Prophetic Activist Art, co-sponsored and housed at Dixon Place (161A Chrystie St, NYC), will take place March 3-5, 2017. Television producer and Presidential Medal of the Arts Winner, Norman Lear, is Advising Producer, and joins a roster of United States Senators, Congressman and local politicians on the list of honorary co-sponsors of the event.

For the second year in a row, the Maine Lobster industry will celebrate its positive economic and cultural impact both in Maine and in the U.S. during National Lobster Day on September 25, 2016. Designated through a resolution by Senators Angus King and Susan Collins of Maine, National Lobster Day reinforces the hard work, sustainable practices and passion of Maine's 5,600 independent lobstermen and women.

Held in the elegant ballrooms of the historic New York Athletic Club with phenomenal views of Central Park as a backdrop, hundreds of New York's movers and shakers turned out to support the cause and also to congratulate meningitis survivor & Para Olympic Gold Medalist Nick Springer, an Honorary Chair along with Ambassador & Mrs. John L.
