ACT of Connecticut (A Contemporary Theatre) is excited to announce the cast for its brand new version of Stephen Schwartz's WORKING. Artistic Director Daniel C. Levine's reimagined, multimedia adaptation of the musical has performances from February 14 through March 10, 2019.

From March 9-April 15, 2019, Carnegie Hall presents Migrations: The Making of America, a citywide festival that traces the journeys of people from different origins and backgrounds who helped to shape and influence the evolution of American culture. Promenade Playhouse and El Gato Rojo Productions have confirmed Tom Waters will direct the world premiere of playwright Stephen A Cardinal's "I AM CHARLIE." The Second City announces the cast for The Second City's 107th Mainstage Revue. Under the direction of ten-time resident stage director and Jeff Award winner Matt Hovde and with returning music direction by Vinnie Pillarella, The Second City's 107th Mainstage Revue will feature current Mainstage ensemble members Ryan Asher, Tyler Davis, Jeffrey Murdoch, and Nate Varrone, who will be joined by Gaslight District cast member Emily Fightmaster and She the People cast member Kimberly Michelle Vaughn. The stage manager is Craig Taylor. The official press opening is Thursday, December 6 at 8pm.

Chicago Humanities Festival, in partnership with The Terra Foundation for American Art, EXPO CHICAGO and Navy Pier today announced the initial list of participants for Creative Chicago: An Interview Marathon, led by one of the world's most influential curators and critics Hans Ulrich Obrist, artistic director of London's Serpentine Galleries. Known for his dynamic, long-form interview sessions, the five-hour interview marathon will be comprised of back-to-back conversations with prominent Chicago innovators from a variety of creative fields.

Bell with book by Buddy Farmer, music by Michael Mahler and lyrics by David H. Bell and Michael Mahler. The production will run July 20 - August 5 at the Josephine Louis Theater, 20 Arts Circle Drive, on the Northwestern Evanston campus. The Press Opening is Today, July 21 at 7:30 p.m.

The Studs Terkel Radio Archive, one of the world's great spoken-word collections, consisting of more than 5,600 programs in various genres created at Terkel's hometown fine arts radio station WFMT in Chicago between 1952 and 1997, will become available to the general public on what would have been Terkel's 106th birthday, May 16, 2018.

Who decides what art is and where it belongs, and what is the role of race, class, and pedigree? THIS IS MODERN ART, the acclaimed and controversial 2014 play by Idris Goodwin and Kevin Coval, based on the 2010 "bombing" of the Art Institute of Chicago by an underground graffiti crew, is making its New York debut.
