Carnegie Hall announced today that world-renowned fashion designer Oscar de la Renta will receive the seventh Carnegie Hall Medal of Excellence at a gala benefit on Thursday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. at The Plaza's Grand Ballroom. Paul Simon and Sting are reportedly set to launch a North American tour in early 2014, with Sting breaking the news to The New York Times today. Titled PAUL SIMON & STING: ON STAGE TOGETHER, the tour will feature the pair performing solo sets and duets, and launch Feb. 8 according to The Hollywood Reporter.
