The Shiamak Dance Movement, the famed international dance phenomenon is coming to the United States.

Principal Conductor Pablo Heras-Casado returns to Carnegie Hall on Thursday, November 6 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, leading Orchestra of St. Luke's in the first of three Carnegie Hall concerts this season as part of the orchestra's 40th anniversary celebration.

In his third season now as their music director, Bell performs Bach's sublime Violin Concertos No. 1 and No. 2, along with a never-done-before 'violin and orchestra' arrangement of the famous Chaconne from the Partita No. 2 (adapted from Mendelssohn's piano accompaniment), the Gavotte en Rondeau from Partita No. 3 for solo violin (using Schumann's accompaniment), and the universally beloved 'Air on the G string'. The new album, Bach, is available September 30. On September 22 through September 28 U.S fans can enter for the chance to meet Joshua Bell on one of his 2014 U.S tour dates by entering here.

THE LAST SHIP - the new musical with music and lyrics by 16-time Grammy Award-winner Sting and book by Tony Award winner John Logan and Pulitzer Prize-winner Brian Yorkey - begins previews tonight, September 29 on Broadway, prior to opening night on October 26.

To celebrate its 40th anniversary this season, Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) turned to works that have been favorites among its musicians and audiences as the starting point for its Chamber Music Series programs. For the season-opening concerts in late October at The Morgan Library & Museum and Brooklyn Museum, the genesis of the program was the Schubert Octet, a work beloved and frequently performed by St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble throughout its history.

Producers Jeffrey Seller and Kathryn Schenker announceD that THE LAST SHIP will offer a limited number of tickets for each performance to be sold by lottery. Entries will be accepted at the box office beginning two and a half hours prior to each performance. Two hours before curtain, names will be drawn at random for a limited number of tickets priced at $30 each. Only one entry is allowed per person. Each person drawn may purchase up to two tickets. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing and show valid ID to purchase tickets. Tickets must be purchased in cash. Tickets are subject to availability.

Sony/ATV Music Publishing, UK collection society PRS for Music and German society GEMA have today announced that they have entered into a new agreement to administer licences for Sony/ATV and EMI's pan-European digital rights for Anglo-American repertoire.

Theo Ubique artistic director Fred Anzevino and musical director Jeremy Ramey, who teamed up for the company's Jeff-award Best Musical winner The Light in the Piazza as well as Aspects of Love and Master Class, are collaborating on this collection of songs by the German born classical composer-turned-Broadway-songsmith Kurt Weill.
