Six of the world's top drummers will be featured on DrumChannel.com's live, daily webcasts of Thomas Lang's "Big Drum Bonanza" drum camp from July 2-6 at 5:30 PM (Pacific Time). The free, hour-long shows- which can be accessed from computers and mobile devices virtually anywhere on the planet- will include appearances by Thomas Lang (stOrk), Chris Coleman (Prince), Matt Garstka (Animals As Leaders), Aquiles Priester (Hangar), Derek Roddy (Hate Eternal) and Gergo Borlai (Tribal Tech) as well as special guest John Tempesta (The Cult).

In April, audiences will share a thrilling Festival-commissioned world premiere-another coup in Virginia Arts Festival's rich history of "see-it-here-first" performances. Stewart Copeland-famed drummer for the iconic 80's rock band The Police-will debut his new score for the epic 1925 silent film Ben-Hur. One of Rolling Stone's greatest drummers of all time, Copeland is also an accomplished composer who has written for orchestra, ballet and film (including Francis Ford Coppola's Rumble Fish and Oliver Stone's Wall Street).

Hot Head Show have turned a lot of heads since their debut 'The Lemon LP' reached the ears of American bass legend Les Claypool, at whose request they spent much of 2011 touring Europe and the USA with cult superstars Primus. The international fanbase they achieved that year demanded that they return to Europe for two startlingly successful tours as headliners in 2012, leading to their signing with RBL Records in Italy and Noisolution in Germany, in addition to their longstanding relationship with Tentacle Entertainments in the UK and North America.

The Public Theater previously announced that, for the first and only time, Sting will perform songs from his new album, The Last Ship, for 10 concerts to benefit The Public Theater in their intimate, 260-seat Anspacher Theater from tonight, September 25 - October 9. An evening of music and storytelling with one of the world's most prolific artists, these performances will offer unique insight into the creative process of both his new album, released yesterday, September 24, and his forthcoming play of the same name, premiering in 2014. All proceeds benefit The Public Theater and are tax deductible.
