Based on Berry Gordy's 1994 autobiography To Be Loved: The Music, the Magic, the Memories of Motown, this musical tells the true story behind Mr. Gordy's founding and running of the Motown record label, and his personal and professional relationships with Motown artists such as Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, and Michael Jackson. The music and lyrics for the musical are taken from selections from the Motown catalog.

CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra announces Grammy Award-winning a cappella gospel group Take 6 will headline the popular Classical Roots concert at Cincinnati's Music Hall. Conductor Charles Floyd will lead the full Orchestra, along with the Classical Roots Community Mass Choir in the one-night-only performance on Friday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m.

The tribute concerts take the music of well-known music icons and create new, unique arrangements and orchestrations by twisting the style to fit the strength of the performer. Lancaster's music scene has been greatly enriched by the stirrings of cabaret that have begun over the past few years. The end of January was notable, however, for two days of outstanding cabaret in a row on the 30th and 31st, first with Lancaster-based performer Reji Woods at the Ware Center, and then with Lancaster-bred performer Jonathan Groff giving a fundraiser at Ephrata Performing Arts Center.
The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at the University of British Columbia (UBC) presents an exclusive concert reuniting two of jazz and contemporary music's most influential icons, and multi-GRAMMY-Award winners, Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock, Sunday, March 15 at 7pm in the Chan Shun Concert Hall.
