Platinum-selling group Little Big Town announced the nominees for the 2012 CMT MUSIC AWARDS live during the 10 a.m. EDT hour of NBC's 'Today' show today, Monday, April 23.

On Thursday, April 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), LMFAO performs their smash hit, "Sorry For Party Rocking," and AMERICAN IDOL Season Eight winner Kris Allen performs his new single, "The Vision Of Love."

Stars of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, gifted young dancers from The Ailey School and, for the first time ever, talented students from AileyCamp will come together for a spectacular one-night performance on Tuesday, May 8th at 7pm on the world famous Apollo stage. Led by new Artistic Director Robert Battle, the Spring Gala Benefit performance will be at the Apollo Theater (253 W 125th Street, between 7th & 8th Avenues). A gala party with festive dress, décor and dancing to music by the famed DJ Ruckus will conclude the 10th annual celebration.

As first reported on TVLine.com, the theme for this Wednesday night's AMERICAN IDOL will be 'Now & Then', with each of the remaining 7 contestants singing two songs, a number one Billboard hit from 2000 to 2012, and a "soul" song from a previous decade.

Host of AMERICAN IDOL, national radio personality and television producer Ryan Seacrest will serve as the host of FOX's 25TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL, airing Sunday, April 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).
