Derek Klena and Caitlin Kinnunen Join Cast of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY

Producers Jeffrey Richards, Stacey Mindich, and Jerry Frankel announced that Derek Klena (Wicked) and Caitlin Kinnunen (Spring Awakening) will join the cast of The Bridges of Madison County, the new musical based on the best selling novel by Robert James Waller. The pair will play Michael and Carolyn Johnson, the children of Francesca (Kelli O'Hara) and Bud Johnson (Hunter Foster).

Producers Jeffrey Richards, Stacey Mindich, and Jerry Frankel announced today that Cass Morgan and Michael X. Martin will join the cast of The Bridges of Madison County, the new musical based on the best selling novel by Robert James Waller. Morgan and Martin will play the roles of Marge and Charlie, the nosy neighbor and her husband to the Johnson family.

The box office of the newly renovated Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) opened yesterday, November 25, 2013, for The Bridges of Madison County, which will begin performances on Friday, January 17, 2014. The opening night is set for Thursday, February 27, 2014. Rehearsals will begin Monday, December 9, 2013. In celebration of the opening, customers who visited the box office between 10AM and 11AM were entered to win a special, grand prize - an original love song, written and performed by Jason Robert Brown. In addition, the first 25 people in line received special The Bridges of Madison County gift bags. BroadwayWorld was there for the special celebration and you can check out photos below!

The highly acclaimed show NOTHING TO HIDE opened last night, November 6 in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Two of the world's most gifted sleight-of-hand artists, Derek DelGaudio (2011 & 2012 Close-up Magician of the Year) and Helder Guimarães (2011 & 2012 Parlor Magician of the Year), star in this uniquely unconventional magic show directed by Emmy Award winner Neil Patrick Harris. Producers Jeffrey Richards, Stacey Mindich, and Jerry Frankel announced today that The Bridges of Madison County, the new musical based on the best selling novel by Robert James Waller, will now begin preview performances on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Gerald B. Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). Previews were originally scheduled for Monday, January 13, 2014, but were changed to accommodate a later rehearsal date of Monday, December 9, 2013. The opening night will remain as originally scheduled, Thursday, February 27, 2014.
