On Monday, October 6 54 Below will host 'Kelli O'Hara and Friends', with a champagne reception at 5:30pm and dinner and a performance at 6:30pm. Kelli O'Hara will be performing, along with Bridges of Madison County costar Steven Pasquale and a number of other surprise guests. It will be hosted by the New York Pops' musical director, Steven Reineke, and proceeds will support the PopsEd programs at Ronald McDonald House New York.

PS Classics' Original Broadway Cast Recording of Audra McDonald in Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill topped four of the Billboard Charts in its first week of release: #1 in Cast Albums, #1 in Jazz, #1 in Traditional Jazz and #1 in Heatseekers. According to Billboard, the album is McDonald's highest-charting solo release ever.

Jason Robert Brown won the 2014 Tony for Best Orchestrations for THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY. Jason Robert Brown was nominated both for Best Score and Best Orchestrations for his work on THE BRIDGES OF MADISON County this year. He won a Tony Award for PARADE in 1999 and was nominated for URBAN COWBOY in 2003, both in the Best Score category.

Barnes & Noble just celebrated the new Ghostlight Records cast recording of The Bridges of Madison County, the new romantic musical which recently closed at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street), with a special in-store performance and CD signing.The event featured stars Kelli O'Hara and Steven Pasquale, in addition to other cast members. The composer/lyricist Jason Robert Brown joined them at the piano, with Justin Goldner and Gary Sieger on guitars and Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf on cello.

Just last night, Drama Desk and Tony Award winner Laura Benanti ('The Sound of Music Live!', Gypsy, Women On The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown) hosted the 59th Annual Drama Desk Awards at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street). Big winners for the night included Audra McDonald, Bryan Cranston, Jessie Mueller, and Neil Patrick Harris and Jefferson Mays- who tied for Outstanding Actor in a Musical.
