Pride Films & Plays, an international network of writers and professionals working in film and theater, announces that its next reading series will feature THE GREAT PLAYS OF TERRENCE McNALLY, a survey of his works written between 1975 and 2006. The Eclipse Theatre Company's 2010 Arthur Miller Season continues with AFTER THE FALL, directed by Ensemble Member Steve Scott. Arthur Miller's ambitious and personal 1964 masterpiece explores a new sense of non-linear theatricality in its powerful study of one man's search for meaning through his memories and relationships. Images and scenes intertwine, illuminating his humanity and probing into the revealing, often painful events of his past.

Victory Gardens opens its 2010/11 Season with Edward Albee's At Home At The Zoo directed by Artistic Director Dennis Za?ek. The production runs October 1 - October 31, 2010 at the Victory Gardens Biograph Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Park. The Press Opening is Monday, October 11, 2010, at 7:30 pm.

Pride Films and Plays, a new not-for-profit, is proud to announce its inaugural activities as an organization. The first two events scheduled are Five Decades of Great Gay Theater, May 9 - June 13, a series of staged reading of great gay plays, Theatre Building Chicago, 1225 West Belmont*, and the Great Gay Screenplay Contest, held in conjunction with Chicago Filmmakers. The contest seeks new screenplays dealing with gay history, characters or themes and relevant to the world. The semi-finalists will be read this fall during Reeling: The Chicago Lesbian and Gay International Film Festival.

Goodman Theatre is proud to announce that Governor Pat Quinn has appointed Resident Artistic Associate Henry Godinez as a member of the Illinois Arts Council.
