The all-new live show "MythBusters: Behind the Myths," starring Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, co-hosts of the Emmy-nominated Discovery series 'MythBusters," will debut at the Fabulous Fox Theatre for one performance only tonight, November 11 at 7:30 p.m.

NYC & Company, New York City's official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, New York Comedy Festival and Comedy Central present the second annual Comedy Week, today, November 5-11.

Discovery Channel announced today that actor, producer, and civil servant Kal Penn will serve as host of its new competition series 'The Big Brain Theory.' Penn, who starred in the hit film franchise 'Harold & Kumar' as well as worked in the White House, began taping episodes earlier this week at WET in Los Angeles. The series, set to debut in the spring of 2013, will feature a seemingly impossible engineering challenge to be solved by the contestants each week.

Each month, Daisey will bring a new, groundbreaking monologue to Joe's Pub for a one-night-only engagement. In October, Daisey will premiere AMERICAN UTOPIAS. Deadline reports that Kevin Dunn will have a recurring role on HBO's comedy series VEEP starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The actor will portray Ben, described as 'the President's Chief of Staff. COMEDY CENTRAL is bringing back the sketch-comedy duo Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele for a second season of the hit series KEY& PEELE airing tonight, September 26 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, following the fall premiere of 'South Park.'

Actors Theatre's 2012-13 season brings five plays to Stage West at The Herberger Theater Center beginning with Mike Daisey's controversial The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs (tonight, Sept. 21-Oct. 7) and ending with the critically acclaimed Good People (May 3-19) by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire.

On the heels of Election Night, Comedy Central's sketch-comedy duo, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, from the hit series Key & Peele will perform a free Comedy Week show as part of the weeklong celebration on Wednesday, November 7, at8 pm at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. In addition, more than 175 comedians will be in New York City to participate in the New York Comedy Festival, performing at some of New York City's most iconic venues, including the Apollo Theater, Carnegie Hall, the Beacon Theatre, Madison Square Garden, Town Hall and Carolines on Broadway.
