Levitt House Replication Built For LEVITTOWN At Theatre At Saint Clement's 7/13

The Cliplight Theater and Theatre at Saint Clement's will present Levittown, written by Marc Palmieri and directed by George Demas, beginning Wednesday, July 8 at 8pm at Theatre at Saint Clement's, 423 West 46th Street. The opening night is set for Monday, July 13 at 8pm. Levittown had a developmental workshop in the summer of 2006 at Axis Theatre Company, directed by Mr. Demas.

Axis Presents 10th Annual Cult Hit Serial HOSPITAL, Begins 6/11

Axis Company (1 Sheridan Square, just off 7th Avenue) invites you to the 10th installment of its annual downtown cult favorite Hospital serial. This episodic multimedia play examines the interior life of a man in a terminal coma. Entering this state in a different way every year, the audience travels with him as he roams the vast, dark interiors of his own brain. Although Hospital is a serial play, each evening can be viewed separately as a self-contained, short play. The serial runs June 11 - July 25 at Axis Theater.

Conceived by Axis Company, directed by Randy Sharp, and presented on an Off-Broadway contract, performances of this limited engagement begin April 2. Opening night is slated for April 9.

Originally presented in November of 2008, this stark and enigmatic look at a life on the fringes of New York's Lower East Side was acclaimed by critics and embraced by record-breaking audiences at Axis. The production comes on the heels of what could be Oliver's breakthrough role in the upcoming film from Napoleon Dynamite's Jared Hess, Gentlemen Broncos, opposite Sam Rockwell as well as a national advertising campaign for mobile phones in Ireland that has also become a cult phenomenon. Directed by Randy Sharp, and presented on an Off-Broadway contract, performances of this limited engagement begin February 12.

After a one year hiatus, Axis Company will present the 9th installment of its annual 'Hospital' serial beginning June 5th. Axis Company's episodic play 'Hospital' examines the interior life of a man in a terminal coma.

Axis Theatre's 'Seven in One Blow' Holiday Show Returns

The Axis Theatre presents the 6th Annual engagement of Holiday Family Show Seven in one Blow, or the Brave Little Kid featuring a special on-film appearance by Deborah Harry for 3 weeks only from December 7 - 22. Adapted from the classic fairy tale by The Brothers Grimm, this interactive winter play with music is conceived by Axis Company and directed by Randy Sharp.

Axis Company Revives Baker's 'A Glance at New York' 10/12

Axis Company will present an Off-Broadway revival of Benjamin A. Baker's 1848 melodrama A Glance at New York. The Axis production is an experimental event carefully adapted by the Company for a contemporary audience. A Glance at New York is directed by Randy Sharp and will be produced under an Equity Off-Broadway contract. Previews begin October 12 with opening scheduled for Friday, October 19th.
