Spike TV's GUYS CHOICE Names Jim Carrey Funniest M.F.

Spike TV will present comedy icon Jim Carrey with the Funniest M.F. award at this year's 'Guys Choice' bash. Funniest M.F. is one of the night's premiere honors as previous winners include fellow standouts Will Ferrell, Steve Carell and most recently, Chris Rock. Taping Saturday, June 4th at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, CA, the fifth annual event premieres Friday, June 10 at 9:00 PM ET/PT.

MTV today announced that the Foo Fighters will rock the '2011 MTV Movie Awards' stage for the first time since 2005, debuting their next single, 'Walk,' off their seventh studio album 'Wasting Light.' Known for their epic live performances, Foo Fighters will join hip-hop artists Lupe Fiasco and Trey Songz as the musical acts featured in this year's live show, along with previously announced presenters Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Steve Carell, Emma Stone, Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Patrick Dempsey, Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel, Jesse Eisenberg, Aziz Ansari, Danny McBride, Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy.

Critically-acclaimed hip-hop superstar Lupe Fiasco will take the stage at the '2011 MTV Movie Awards'. He will be joined by R&B sensation, Trey Songz for their first-ever televised performance together. Grammy Award-winning Lupe Fiasco will treat viewers to two songs from his hit album LASERS, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts. Fiasco will first rip the stage with the television debut of Fiasco and Trey Songz's collaborative single 'Out of My Head,' to be followed by a performance of his platinum single 'The Show Goes On.'

NBC Picks Up Four New Shows; Applegate, 'Prime Suspect' Among Them

In addition to the previously reported 'Smash' NBC has picked up three other shows, according to Deadline.com. They are: Christina Applegate's 'Up All Night', Whitney Cummings' 'Whitney', and the American adaptation of 'Prime Suspect'. Universal Media Studios will be producing all four shows.

NBC's 'America's Got Talent' and its producers have re-partnered with YouTube to allow talented acts from across the country the opportunity to audition online for their shot at stardom and a million-dollar prize, it was announced today by Paul Telegdy, Executive Vice President, Alternative Programming, NBC and Universal Media Studios. Much like season 5 finalist Jackie Evancho, who became a worldwide singing sensation after her online submission led to her competing on the #1 summer series, hopefuls once again can audition online by submitting their auditions via YouTube. Powered by YouTube, beginning May 5 through June 9, acts of all ages can now upload their audition videos via the 'America's Got Talent' Audition App, or at www.youtube.com/americasgottalent, or at nbc.com/agt, as well as the 'America's Got Talent' Facebook fan page at www.facebook.com/nbcagt. Following the June 9 deadline, producers will select 20 acts for the YouTube community to view and vote for their favorites. The #1 YouTube act with the most votes will automatically gain a place on the YouTube-branded quarterfinal broadcast episode.
