In an attempt to prove that Washington, D.C. isn't the only town that rewards malfeasance, Center Theatre Group is celebrating Los Angelenos' wrong-doings and missteps by asking all residents to search their consciences for the worst things that they have ever done, and submit said misdeeds now through December 23 to win a package of prizes. The holiday prize pack includes two tickets to see The Second City's "A Christmas Carol: Twist Your Dickens!" at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, a gift certificate to the local restaurant Ugo Culver City and all the Tiny Timtinis and Scrooge Drivers you can drink **. (Please Note: Mr. Scrooge has determined that you and your guest can drink no more than two each - this is a theatre, not a Toronto City Council meeting.) The album went Platinum, selling over one million copies, a rare feat for a comedy album from a comedian just starting out. Harmful If Swallowed brought Cook to the masses, proving that his iconic storytelling style of comedy translates masterfully onto record. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of this achievement, Comedy Central Records will release a limited-edition run of 1,000 vinyl copies of the critically-acclaimed album with exclusive 10th anniversary artwork. The vinyl will be available beginning November 26th.
