This Friday, September 5 th (8:00 9:00 PM ET/PT) Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), will stage its fourth biennial fundraising event.

On JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE last night, Kimmel announced that in order to compete with NBC's PETER PAN, who would be played by a woman, ABC would be producing a live production of ANNIE, starring, music superstar Ed Sheeran in the title role.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. is currently making plans to bring the Looney Tunes gang back to the big screen with Steve Carell attached to star in a CG/live-action hybrid; not unlike Michael Jordan did in the last major Looney Tunes film SPACE JAM.

Deadline reports that Steve Carell is taking over Zach Galifianakis's role in the upcoming drama FREEHELD. Galifianakis departs the project due to schedule conflicts. FREEHELD also stars Julianne Moore and Ellen Page and will be directed by Peter Sollett from a script by Ron Nyswaner.

Tonight, August 19, 2014, Improv Wars will again hit the Columbus comedy scene with Improv Wars One Night Stand featuring 10 of Columbus' finest improv groups competing for audience laughs. Each group will get seven minutes to show what they've got. Its no holds bared, where there is no format, no rules, and and tons of laughs. As with previous Improv Wars the event will be held at Studio 35, 3055 Indianola Ave., Columbus, OH 43202.
