On Monday, April 4, the Theater People podcast welcomes ON YOUR FEET star Andrea Burns. Burns made her professional New York debut in Jason Robert Brown's groundbreaking 1995 musical SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD. She then made her Broadway debut in 1996 as a replacement in the role of Belle in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and went on to co-star in the Broadway productions of THE FULL MONTY and THE RITZ.

? Marilyn Maye returned to Feinstein's/54 Below and celebrated her birthday with a new show last night and BroadwayWorld was there. Highlights will include some of the best musical moments of Marilyn's enduring career over the past decade, during which she reigned as Manhattan's Queen of Cabaret.

With his music director Billy Stritch, Paulo brought the romantic songs of the American Songbook and his Brazilian roots to the stage of Feinstein's/54 Below. Jerry's 90th Birthday Party soon became a telethon of happiness as the Friars evening unfolded.  The pledges given to Jerry Lewis were of love and respect and they came from his fellow Friars and entertainers jam packed into the Frank Sinatra Dining Room.  The amount of laughs in the club even created a new total of hysterics for an institution that has been the home of much laughter during its storied show biz history.

This new musical is directed and choreographed by Tony nominee and Emmy Award winner Joshua Bergasse with musical direction by Roberta Duchak. Robert Cuccioli, Michele Ragusa, Danny Gardner, Maxine Lineman and Christina Aranda sang the songs in Scott Siegel's Greatest Broadway Songs vol 4 at Feinstein's/54 Below and BroadwayWorld was there.

Tony-nominated actor Robert Cuccioli will lead the cast of MAGICAL THINKING: My Favorite Indigents & Severe Clear by playwright/designer Carrie Robbins, directed by Paul Dobie (Associate or Assistant Director for B'way's Once, Cabaret, Wicked, Martin Short... Fame Becomes Me, Glengarry Glen Ross). The reading will take place on Monday, April 18, at 7pm at the Bernie Wohl Center.

 Kenneth Joseph 'Ken' Howard, Jr., a Tony and Emmy Award-winning actor and president of the performers union SAG-AFTRA died today at his home near Los Angeles. He was 71.

Gianni Russo, actor/singer best known for his role as Carlo Rizzi in The Godfather headlined an evening of entertainment at the legendary Le Cirque restaurant last night and BroadwayWorld was there.
