The producers of the national tour of the THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, and The Orpheum Theatre announced today that single tickets will go on sale Friday, April 4th at 10:00 AM. This just in! New York City Center's acclaimed Encores! Off-Center series, under the artistic direction of Jeanine Tesori, will return this summer for a second season of landmark Off-Broadway musicals. The season opens with Jonathan Larson's tick, tick… BOOM!, June 25 - 28, starring Lin-Manuel Miranda and Karen Olivo, directed by Oliver Butler, and continues with a one-night only performance of Randy Newman'sFaust: The Concert, with Randy Newman as the Devil, directed by Thomas Kail, on July 1. Pump Boys and Dinettes, withbook, music and lyrics by John Foley, Mark Hardwick, Debra Monk, Cass Morgan, John Schimmel and Jim Wann , directed by Lear deBessonet and choreographed by Danny Mefford, wraps up the season, running July 16 - 19. Chris Fenwick is the Encores! Off-Center music director.

Jeanna de Waal & Cortney Wolfson Join Cast of KINKY BOOTS as 'Lauren' and 'Nicola' Tonight

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Kinky Boots will welcome new cast members beginning tonight, March 4, 2014. Jeanna de Waal joins the cast as 'Lauren' (replacing Annaleigh Ashford, who leaves to join the cast of Showtime's 'Masters of Sex'), and Cortney Wolfson, who was previously in the ensemble, moves up to the role of 'Nicola' (replacing Lena Hall, who leaves to join the cast of Hedwig and the Angry Inch). Anna Eilinsfeld takes over Wolfson's role in the cast.

The producers of the national tour of the THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, and Segerstrom Center for the Arts announced today that single tickets will go on sale Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 10 a.m. PST for the Orange County engagement from May 13 - 25, 2014. Single tickets, which start at $34.75, will be available online at SCFTA.org, at the Box Office at 600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa or by calling (714) 556-2787. For the week ending 2/9/14, THE BOOK OF MORMON broke the house record at Atlanta's Fox Theatre, grossing $2,802,606.00. This milestone represents the highest eight performance gross in Broadway touring history. The show breaks a record previously set by WICKED in 2012.

WICKED Announces $25 Lottery Tickets for Fox Cities Performing Arts Center Run

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center with performances from February 12 through March 2 Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Fox Cities P.A.C. ticket office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the ticket office, with a limit of two tickets per person. Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form and, if chosen, when purchasing tickets.
