Tony nominee Daniel Breaker just announced via Twitter that he will soon join the cast of THE BOOK OF MORMON as tribal chief 'Mafala.' He writes: I'm pleased to join the @BookofMormon this Feb on B'way!!! Come see me play Mafala in this absolutely hilarious show!!! #LoveMormon'. Breaker will replace original cast member Michael Potts.

KINKY BOOTS, featuring music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, was the winner of this year's Grammy Award for 'Best Musical Theater Album.' The honor was given out at the GRAMMY pre-show ceremony and accepted by Lauper. Watch the musical take home the award below!

The producers of the First National Tour of the THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, and Wharton Center announced today that single tickets will go on sale Friday, January 31 at 10:00am. THE BOOK OF MORMON comes to Wharton Center as part of the MSU Federal Credit Union Broadway at Wharton Center Series for eight performances only; June 10-15. Original KINKY BOOTS cast member and two-time Tony nominee Stark Sands gives his final performance in the Cyndi Lauper, Harvey Fierstein, and Jerry Mitchell's Broadway hit, today, Jan. 26. Sands will be suceeded by Andy Kelso as 'Charlie Price' on Jan. 28.

After breaking box office records and selling out in record time in 2012, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to Sacramento Community Center Theater from May 28 through June 15 as part of the Broadway Sacramento series. Tickets for the return engagement go on sale February 15.

The Tony Award-winning musical AVENUE Q will be featured on the Lifetime TV series "Celebrity Bucket List" on Saturday, Jan. 25th (check local listings for broadcast times across the U.S.) in a half-hour segment with best-selling author Jodi Picoult ("My Sister's Keeper"), who realizes her lifelong dream of appearing in a show on stage. In the segment, she (expertly) performs various walk-on roles as Q characters Nicky and Mrs. T.

Feels Like The First Time, a benefit concert presented by the popular website The Craptacular (thecraptacular.com), will bring together a host of Broadway stars at NYC's (le) Poisson Rouge on Monday February 10, 2014 at 7:00pm. Tony Award winning director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell revealed that his Broadway smash hit KINKY BOOTS will have its West End premiere in 2015.

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to The Orpheum Theatre with performances from Wednesday, January 29 through February 16. Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Orpheum Theatre box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has announced a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins January 28 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2013/2014 season. The show plays a limited two week engagement through February 9. The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces that the company of the first North American tour of WICKED is thrilled to welcome Tim Kazurinsky as the Wizard, Nick Adams as Fiyero and Jenny Florkowski as Nessarose on Tuesday, February 4 in Pittsburgh, PA. WICKED will return to the Benedum Center January 15 through February 9.
