This award will debut at this year's BET AWARDS '10 on Sunday, June 27, 2010. Award-winning author/director Jackie Alexander's 'BIRTHRIGHT' takes place one year after Katrina in Slidell, Louisiana, fifteen miles northeast of New Orleans.
