British actor Earl Carpenter's start date in Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Claude-Michel Schönberg & Alain Boublil's LES MISERABLES in the role of Javert has been pushed to Friday, August 15 due to visa issues, it was confirmed today.
Adam Monley, who currently performs the roles of the Bishop of Digne and Combeferre in Cameron Mackintosh's smash hit new production of Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's Les Miserables, will assume the role the role of Javert beginning today, July 22.

MISS SAIGON made its highly anticipated return to London on May 21, 2014 at the Prince Edward Theatre, in the musical's 25th anniversary year. This new production is directed by Laurence Connor with musical staging by Bob Avian and additional choreography by Geoffrey Garratt, production design by Totie Driver and Matt Kinley based on an original concept by Adrian Vaux, costume design by Andreane Neofitou, lighting design byBruno Poet, sound design by Mick Potter, and orchestrations by William David Brohn. Musical supervision is by Stephen Brooker and John Rigby. Musical direction is by Alfonso Casado Trigo.

Acclaimed British actor Earl Carpenter will join Cameron Mackintosh's smash hit new production of Claude-Michel Schönberg & Alain Boublil's Les Miserables in the role of Javert beginning Tuesday, August 12 on Broadway at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street).
Les Miserables has a tricky name that many people like to avoid by simply calling it Les Mis. With its recent stage and screen comeback, the Daily Telegraph decided to ask Cameron Mackintosh what he preferred to call the show when he first brought it to the stage 27 years ago.
Her Majesty's Theatre in Melbourne has had to postpone the premiere of Les Miserables. According to Herald Sun, a throat virus has hit the cast members. This Sunday's 6:30pm performance has now been shifted to 8pm on July 27 in order to ensure recovery.
