On Thursday, February 28, 2019, the Women's Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) Honorary Chairs Rita Wilson, Tom Hanks, Kate Capshaw and Steven Spielberg, along with WCRF co-founders Anne Douglas, Quinn Ezralow, Marion Laurie, Kelly Chapman Meyer, and Jamie Tisch will welcome guests to An Unforgettable Evening.  The event will take place at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, and benefit the Women's Cancer Research Fund, a program of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).

Today, Apple-supported artist Loren Kramar has released the new single 'Maybe', complete with a beautifully crafted visual component to illustrate a 'change of heart'. 'Maybe' was produced by Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear, co-written by John Carroll Kirby (Solange, Blood Orange, Sebastian Tellier) and recorded between Vox and Terrible studios in Los Angeles, CA.

On February 6th at Joe's Pub in New York City, Lisa Fox and the David Lynch Foundation (DLF) will host a book launch party and meet-and-greet featuring longtime meditators Jerry Seinfeld, Hugh Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness to celebrate the release of Bob Roth's new book Strength in Stillness: The Power of Transcendental Meditation. Proceeds from the launch event and the sale of the book will go towards teaching women and children who are survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault to meditate through the Manhattan Family Justice Center.

Contemporary Spanish dancer/choreographer Blanca Li is bringing her new show “Goddesses & Demonesses” to The City Center for a three-night limited engagement on March 30th through April 1st.

Contemporary dancer-choreographer Blanca Li and Bolshoi Ballet principal dancer Maria Alexandrova conjure mythological figures in a new evening-length work by Li, Goddesses and Demonesses, that has its US premiere at the New York City Center. Drawing on Greek mythology and the contrasting languages of classical ballet and contemporary dance, Li and Alexandrova explore the dual nature of femininity, transforming into archetypes ranging from nurturing mothers to femme fatales. The acclaimed performance also features original couture costumes by four of the world's foremost fashion designers: Jean-Paul Gaultier, Azzedine Alaïa, Stella McCartney and Sophie Theallet.
