Apartheid in South Africa has now been gone more than twenty years but the heroes of their struggle to achieve a 'Rainbow' coalition midst a Black majority-run democracy are still being revealed. The Human Spirit, a play written by author Carole Eglash-Kosoff, will be playing at The Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood in late September. The Human Spirit tells the stories of real-life individuals, Black and White, Christian and Jewish, who worked tirelessly in the shadows to improve conditions for the country's most disadvantaged.

The Stella Lab Theater will make her debut with the critically acclaimed production Waiting For Godot. The production will be masterfully directed by Milton Justice. The Stella Adler Studio of Acting's Harold Clurman Laboratory Theater Company has announced that Michael Milligan's Mercy Killers is the recipient of The Scotsman Fringe First Award at the 2013 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Milligan's one-man play is inspired by America's horror stories of the uninsured, many of whom suffer financial tragedies on top of chronic illnesses. The festival performance featured the debut of Mercy Killers outside of the U.S.

While completing high school together at Hunter in Manhattan, friends Alec Grossman and Rachel Kaly set out to write a play. Today, they have grown into college students, and their play, the aptly-named The Adventures of Boy and Girl, has grown along with them: it is entering its second production at the New York Fringe Festival following a performance in 2011 at the Stella Adler Theater in Hollywood.

New Perspectives Theatre Company (NPTC) has announced DEAD RECKONING, the 6th Annual Women's Work Short Play Festival with three original scripts developed to that theme.
