Cast Announced for The Old Globe's GLOBE FOR ALL Free Shakespeare Tour, Beginning 10/28

The Old Globe invites your participation and coverage as it begins presenting shows through an exciting new producing platform, Globe for All. This free-of-charge tour of a professional production of Shakespeare will allow the theatre to serve more communities throughout San Diego by collaborating with a diverse range of local organizations. Old Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein directs the first production, Shakespeare's fascinating romance All's Well That Ends Well. He has cast local professional actors, including recent graduates of the Old Globe/University of San Diego Graduate Theatre Program. The first Globe for All free Shakespeare tour will begin October 28 and will culminate in three low-cost performances on November 7 to 9 in the Globe's Hattox Hall, part of the Karen and Donald Cohn Education Center in the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

Ruthie Ann Miles Will Depart HERE LIES LOVE this Month; New 'Imelda Marcos' Announced

Jaygee Macapugay, currently featured in the cast of the off-Broadway hit musical Here Lies Love, will assume the title role of Imelda Marcos with her first official performance on Monday October 20th. Ruthie Ann Miles who originated the role will play her final performance on Saturday October 18th. Tobias Wong has also joined the cast and is now playing the role of the D.J.

Snow Lion Announces the Cast of WYOMING

Opening November 14, the bitingly satirical and highly entertaining next offering from Snowlion Rep is Moral & Political Lessons on 'Wyoming' by New York playwright Vincent Sessa. Jay Sullivan, Jeffrey Bean and James Black Lead DRACULA, Beginning Tonight at the Alley Theatre

Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and creative team for Dracula, the Original Vampire Play, the second production in the 'Alley Theatre @ UH' season. Featuring iconic costume and set designs by Edward Gorey, the Alley's production is based on the original 1927 adaptation of the classic thriller that marvelously balances the menace of the horror tale with sophisticated satire.

Emerson Theatre Collaborative Presents HOUR FARTHER This Weekend

Emerson Theatre Collaborative (ETC), in association with Black Stars of the Great White Way - a Chapman Roberts and Richard Allen Center for Art & Culture, announces its production of the play, Hour Farther written by David Horace Greer, directed by Camilla Ross, and starring renowned stage and screen actor and singer, Kirk Taylor. Most recently, Mr. Taylor had the honor of working alongside the late Robin Williams and Mila Kunis in the film, The Angriest Man In Brooklyn directed by Phillip Alden Robinson.

Harold Clurman Playwrights Division Reveals Winners of 10-Minute Play Search

The Harold Clurman Playwrights Division, a program of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, has announced the results of its search for ten-minute plays with social impact. In early 2014, the division sought plays that address issues of the environmental crisis or global violence against women and girls. Over sixty plays were received. Seven of them will be read on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 7pm as part of the Harold Clurman Festival of the Arts, an annual event that highlights the relationship between art and social activism. The cast will be comprised of studio alumni and faculty. The selected plays and authors follow:

Following its celebrated East Coast premiere at the 2014 New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC), the critically acclaimed ABSOLUTELY FILTHY will return to NYC as part of SoHo Playhouse's FringeNYC ENCORE SERIES with performances from today, October 1st through October 5th only at SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street between Varick and Spring Streets).

OLYMPICS ÜBER ALLES Extends Run at St. Luke's Theater
