THE 67TH ANNUAL TONY AWARDS are being broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall, tonight, June 9th (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. Kinky Boots opened on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on April 4, 2013. In Kinky Boots, Charlie Price (Tony Award nominee Stark Sands) has suddenly inherited his father's shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to live up to his father's legacy and save his family business, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola (Billy Porter). A fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos, Lola turns out to be the one person who can help Charlie become the man he's meant to be. As they work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible... and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world. The cast visited 'The View' earlier today and you can check out their performance of 'The Sex is in the Heel' below!

Harvey Fierstein has written Tony nominated musicals for the past two seasons, and according to an interview with the Observer, there is a play on the way for next spring. A still-untitled new play will come to Broadway in Spring 2014. He told the Observerer: 'I wrote the role for myself, but it's an ensemble piece, a cast of nine. I would like to play it, but I think I hurt A Catered Affair by being in it. I think I threw the balance off because I was the playwright-and I actually wrote that role for Joel Grey, too. It's an ensemble so the focus should not be on my character.'

Yesterday afternoon, the 2013 Tony Award nominees celebrated the week of the the 67th Annual Tony Awards (which will air live on CBS on Sunday, June 9th) at New York City's biggest landmark- the Empire State Building. Attendees included: Bertie Carvel, Carrie Coon, Charl Brown, Gabriel Ebert, Judith Light, Justin Paul & Benj Pasek, Keala Settle, Laura Osnes, Lauren Ward, Patina Miller, Richard Kind, Rob McClure, Santino Fontana, Shalita Grant, Stark Sands, Stephanie J.
