Segerstrom Center for the Arts welcomes Grammy Award-winning, multiple- platinum album jazz artist Diana Krall in a one-night-only concert on Saturday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Segerstrom Hall. The concert is part of Krall's Glad Rag Doll world tour. Her return to the Center will include selections from her latest album, which features modern renditions of vintage songs from the 1920s and '30s complete with Krall's signature sultry sound.

Segerstrom Center's 22nd annual Summer at the Center (SATC) program continues through tonight, August 3.

Join South Coast Repertory during its monumental 50th season. Five world premieres, a musical and a classic American drama are all featured during the season, running from August through June. Tickets for SCR's 2013-14 season are now on sale, starting at $22.

The play will have one performance, tonight, July 30, 2013, at 8:00pm, at the Douglas Morrisson Theatre, 22311 N. Third St. in Hayward, CA. Tickets are $10 (open seating), and are available through the Box Office at (510) 881-6777 or online at www.dmtonline.org.

Sundance Institute and the LUMA Foundation previously announced that the two organizations would collaborate to host The Sundance Institute | LUMA Foundation Theatre Directors Retreat at Domaine de l'Armelliere, today, July 29 - August 9, in Arles, France. Under the supervision of Philip Himberg, Artistic Director of The Sundance Institute Theatre Program, Producing Director Christopher Hibma and Program Associate Anne Kauffman, the Retreat will be the first theatre director-centered residency at the Institute.

Segerstrom Center's 22nd annual Summer at the Center (SATC) program continues now through August 3. This award-winning program utilizes the arts to inspire, motivate and provide high-risk and underserved youths with opportunities to interact in positive ways with their peers. A musical theater format employed by professional teaching artists creates a fun and creative environment that also encourages productive dialogue and introspection. The two-week program concludes with the students performing a Broadway revue-style show in Samueli Theater on Saturday, August 3 at 12:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

South Coast Repertory's Summer Players will present ANNIE, one of America's most beloved musicals, August 10-11 and 17-18 on the Julianne Argyros Stage. ANNIE will be directed by Theatre Conservatory Director Hisa Takakuwa, with music direction by Erin McNally.

Center Theatre Group (CTG) has been awarded a four-year, $1 million grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The grant will make possible a program focusing on collaboratively created contemporary work from ensembles, devisers and writers, supporting the creative arc from commissioning through development and production; the program will build on the work generated by a multi-year 2009 Mellon Foundation grant supporting the development of non-text based work.

Shakespeare Orange County begins its 2013 summer season with Shakespeare's TWEFLTH NIGHT or WHAT YOU WILL, July 19 - August 3, 2013 with a preview tonight, July 18, 2013. Directed by Thomas F. Bradac and Alyssa Bradac, TWELFTH NIGHT performs at the Festival Amphitheatre in Garden Grove, California.

Aux Dog Theatre Nob Hill presents The Bicycle Men for one weekend only! The show runs tonight, July 18-20, today, Friday & Saturday at 7.30pm, with a special late night show on Saturday at 10pm.

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) has announced that two-time OBIE Award winner Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812) will direct THE FAIRYTALE LIVES OF RUSSIAN GIRLS by 2012 Whiting Writers' Award winner Meg Miroshnik, January 31-February 22, 2014.

In a last minute change: Nancy Opel has stepped in to replace Liz Larsen, who had to cancel due to illness. The cast and crew are so pleased and touched that Nancy was available and willing to step in just one day before the reading!

Juilliard's Drama Division announces the 2013-2014 season of fully-staged productions featuring Juilliard's 43rd group of acting students in their fourth and final year in the drama program at Juilliard. This season's plays include Jeffrey Hatcher's Smash, directed by Victor Pappas; Amy Herzog's The Great God Pan, directed by Maria Mileaf; and Sam Shepard's Buried Child, directed by Daniel Fish. All performances take place in the Stephanie P. McClelland Drama Theater at Juilliard.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Time Warner Foundation, South Coast Repertory is launching its new CrossRoads Commissioning Project-a community-based initiative within the theatre's renowned new work program. As part of the project, SCR has commissioned eight playwrights, locally and nationally, to create new work inspired by residencies that explore the incredible diversity of Orange County.

AstonRep Theatre Company is pleased to announce its 2013-14 season at its new, larger home at Chicago's Raven Theatre. The season kicks off this fall with the Chicago premiere of Theresa Rebeck's riveting drama THE WATER'S EDGE. In the spring, AstonRep presents Margaret Edson's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama WIT. The season concludes next summer at The Den Theatre with the 6th ANNUAL WRITER'S SERIES, exposing and developing new works by some of Chicago's most talented playwrights.
