A star-studded musical celebration, the 4th Annual Best of Broadway & Cabaret to benefit the Actors' Temple [339 West 47th Street, between Eighth and Ninth Avenue], the historic theater district landmark that has been a welcoming home to show business Jews, their family, and friends, will take place Monday, November 18 at 7 P.M.

Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Matthew Lombardo will present four-time Tony Award-nominee Tovah Feldshuh who will recreate her award-winning performance as Golda Meir in the 10th Anniversary Production of Golda's Balcony. Tickets go on sale November 22 for the acclaimed William Gibson play, which will be part of the WinterStage Season at the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from January 22 through January 26, 2014.

The Best of Broadway & Cabaret will come out in support of the Actors' Temple, (est. 1917) on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 7:00 PM. The Fourth Annual Concert Fundraiser will take place at the Temple, 339 West 47th Street. This musical celebration will benefit the theater district historic landmark which has been struggling to survive in recent years.

The Actors' Temple (Congregation Ezrath Israel) has announced its first "Broadway Shabbat"-a special short service prepared for performing artists that will conclude in time for performers to make their half-hour calls that evening.

This week at Joe's Pub at the Public, Sept. 30 - Oct. 6, features performances by LUKE WINSLOW KING & HIS BAND, BRIDGET EVERETT & THE TENDER MOMENTS, THE HOT SARDINES, CARTE BLANCHE, JUSTIN VIVIAN BOND, FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME, JILLETTE JOHNSON, ALLEN TOUSSAINT: CD RELEASE, SPENCER DAY, and REBA C*NTRY! STARRING AMBER MARTINAS REBA MCENTIRE.

Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff/Artistic Producer) will present three free staged readings of 'Cookin'!', a new musical by Debra Barsha and Hollye Levin, with musical director Gillian Berkowitz, directed by Lynne Taylor-Corbett. The readings will take place tonight, September 25 @ 6pm and Thursday, September 26 at 1:00pm and 5pm, at The Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street.

Watching Keegan Theatre's production of Neil Simon's The Sunshine Boys is akin to watching comedians from your grandparent's generation.
