STAGE TUBE: Inside the NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT Photo Shoot!

Two-time Tony Award-winner Matthew Broderick and three-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara in NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, featuring music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin, will begin performances on Broadway on Thursday, March 29, 2012 and officially open on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). The production is directed & choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall and features a book by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro. NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT is featured in the April 2012 issue of Vanity Fair in a story written by Jim Kelly. Samuel L. Jackson, Angela Bassett, Bernadette Peters to Visit THE VIEW Tomorrow

The Mountaintop starring Samuel L. Jackson (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,) and Angela Bassett, directed by the Tony-nominated Kenny Leon (Fences, A Raisin in the Sun), will open officially on October 13, 2011 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. On the October 11 episode of 'The View,' stars of the show Samuel L. Jackson and Angela Bassett chat about the big Broadway opening, and Bernadette Peters stops by as well. FUNNY GIRL Revival to Play Broadway's Imperial Theatre Opening April 2012

FUNNY GIRL, starring two-time Emmy Award nominee Lauren Ambrose as Fanny Brice and two-time Tony Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Bobby Cannavale as Nick Arnstein, will open on Broadway in April, 2012 at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street), following its engagement at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles from January 15 through February 26, 2012, it was announced today by producer Bob Boyett. Additional casting, preview and opening dates will be announced shortly. It will be the first time FUNNY GIRL will be on Broadway since the 1964 original production.

TV: Samuel L. Jackson & Angela Bassett Talk 'MOUNTAINTOP' at Brooklyn High School of the Arts

Yestersay, the company of The Mountaintop, including stars Samuel L. Jackson (DR. Martin Luther King, Jr.,) and Angela Bassett, ventured to Brooklyn to meet with students of the Brooklyn High School of the Arts to talk about Katori Hall's highly anticipated new work and what it takes to be a working artist. They were additionally joined by Hall and the show's Tony-nominated director, Kenny Leon (Fences, A Raisin in the Sun). BroadwayWorld was there and takes you inside their talk below.

Directed by Richard Eyre, PRIVATE LIVES will play at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street) with previews beginning on Sunday November 6 and opening night set for Thursday November 17. The limited engagement runs through February 5 2012. Prior to Broadway, PRIVATE LIVES will play a limited run at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre. BREAKING NEWS: Bobby Cannavale to Star Opposite Lauren Ambrose in FUNNY GIRL

Two-time Tony Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Bobby Cannavale will star as Nick Arnstein opposite Lauren Ambrose, who will star as Fanny Brice, in the first Broadway revival of FUNNY GIRL since the 1964 original production. FUNNY GIRL, which features music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Bob Merrill and book by Isobel Lennart, will be directed by Tony Award-winner Bartlett Sher.

Stephen Ashfield, Ben Freeman Join West End's LEGALLY BLONDE

From 10 October 2011 Stephen Ashfield (Emmett) and Ben Freeman (Warner), will be joining Carley Stenson (Elle Woods), Natalie Casey (Paulette) and Peter Davison (Professor Callahan) in the Olivier Award winning show Legally Blonde The Musical, which is currently booking until 27 October 2012 at the Savoy Theatre.

Branford Marsalis to Compose Music for THE MOUNTAINTOP

It was announced today that world renowned Grammy Award®-winning saxophonist and Tony Award® nominee Branford Marsalis (Fences) will join the creative team as composer of original music for the upcoming Broadway premiere of the new play, The Mountaintop, by Katori Hall, starring Academy Award-nominee Samuel L. Jackson as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Academy Award-nominee & Golden Globe-winner Angela Bassett as Camae. Directed by Tony Award® nominee Kenny Leon (Fences, A Raisin in the Sun), The Mountaintop will begin performances on September 22, 2011, at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street), with an official opening on Thursday, October 13, 2011.
