To date, 2.7 million copies of the books, with stories set in the 1930s and 1940s, have been sold.

L. Ron Hubbard's detective mystery story 'The Blow Torch Murder' will be performed two nights only, July 13 and 20, at the Golden Age Theater located in Hollywood. Doors open at 7:00 PM and show starts at 7:30PM.
Returning after a three year hiatus, Author Services Inc, located one block west of Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd, is once again hosting live music and story-readings of L. Ron Hubbard's 'Stories from the Golden Age,' with some of the world's most talented musicians and Hollywood's most recognized actors, including Chick Corea, Edgar Winter, Karen Black and David Carradine.
