Oklahoma Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb on Wednesday recognized Lyric Theatre's Producing Artistic Director Michael Baron as a recipient of the 2016 Governor's Arts Award. The Community Service Award was presented to Baron during the 41st annual ceremony at the State Capitol Rotunda.

Signature Theatre is proud to announce the full cast and creative team for Titanic, directed by Signature Theatre Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer (Broadway's Gigi, Follies, Million Dollar Quartet). Signature Theatre reaffirms its mission to stage inventive new productions of classic musicals by tackling Maury Yeston's (Nine) and Peter Stone's (1776) Tony Award®-winning musical about the heart-stopping and riveting ride through the final moments of Titanic's fateful journey. Titanic will run from December 13 - January 29, 2017, featuring a cast, crew and orchestra of more than 50 artists and an inventive new 360 degree staging in Signature Theatre's intimate 330 seat MAX Theatre.

Theater J will present the intellectually stunning Tony Award-winning drama Copenhagen this winter, directed by Eleanor Holdridge. Michael Frayn's Copenhagen investigates the historical 1941 meeting of German physicist Werner Heisenberg and his Danish counterpart Niels Bohr as they contemplate the creation of the atom bomb. It will run at Theater J from January 5-29, 2017.

First Corinthian Baptist Church Dream Center in association with The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce, HARLEM WEEK, Harlem Arts Alliance New Heritage Theatre Group, and Walk Tall Girl Productions on Wednesday, December 7 at 7PM at Harlem Hospital's Mural Pavilion, 136th Street and Malcolm X Blvd (Lenox Avenue) presents An Evening with Ruben Santiago-Hudson: Celebrating the Broadway directorial debut of August Wilson's Jitney, opening January 19, 2017.

Will Eno's new play at Signature Theatre now has a title - Wakey, Wakey. Lucille Lortel and Obie Award-winner Eno, who is a Residency Five playwright at Signature, will also direct. Casting and design team will be announced at a later date.

'Jersey Christmas' is a brand spankin' new holiday classic. It's the pop/rock creation of New Jersey native singer/songwriter/actor Ben Rauch, who performs lead vocals and composed the music for the song which he co-wrote with songwriter Gaby Gold. The music video was shot entirely on location in New Jersey, and features Jersey Shore beaches along with the Asbury Park landmark 'The Stone Pony' (the historic rock club known for launching the careers of Jersey heroes Springsteen & Bon Jovi). The encore engagement of The Wolves, Sarah DeLappe's debut play opens tonight at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project. In response to popular demand, The Playwrights Realm, by arrangement with Scott Rudin and Eli Bush, has extended the encore engagement of the production through December 29.

The Ogunquit Playhouse has announced the launch of a new works program to incubate and develop new musicals for the stage. The program is helmed by Matt Schicker and will kick off on Monday, December 5 at 3:30PM at Pearl Studios in New York, NY, with an invite-only Actors' Equity Association stage reading of Frida, a musical with book and lyrics by Michael Aman and music by Dana P. Rowe.

Denver Center for the Performing Arts Broadway/Cabaret announces today that Wesley Taylor, Broadway star and fan favorite in the NBC TV show 'Smash,' will play God through January 22. Steven J. Burge will assume the role of God starting January 24.

Theater Close-Up, the unique collaboration between THIRTEEN and the large community of New York City area non-profit Off-Broadway theaters, will present Sam Shepard's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Buried Child in Scott Elliott's acclaimed production from The New Group, Monday, November 28 at 9 p.m. on THIRTEEN, with an encore presentation today, December 2 at 3:30 a.m. The play will also air Sunday, December 18 at 10 p.m. on WLIW21. Actress Blythe Danner hosts the broadcast.

The Huntington Theatre Company presents the iconic classic drama A Doll's House, by Henrik Ibsen, adapted by Bryony Lavery, and directed by Boston favorite Melia Bensussen (Awake and Sing!, Luck of the Irish, and Circle Mirror Transformation at the Huntington). Performances run January 6 - February 5, 2017 at the Avenue of the Arts / BU Theatre.
