The Hollywood Bowl celebrates its 45th year of presenting SummerSounds, one of the most popular children's festivals in Southern California. The six-week festival of world music and arts for children ages 3 to 11 takes place weekday mornings, beginning tonight, July 9, and running weekdays until Friday, August 17, with two performances each Monday through Friday, at 10am and 11:15am.

Stamford Center for the Arts today announced that Earth, Wind & Fire will be making a stop on their "Guiding Lights" summer concert tour 2012 at the Palace Theatre in Stamford on September 20th at 8 PM. Earth, Wind & Fire's celebrated legacy of over four decades has produced 20 Grammy® Award nominations with 8 wins. Their music continues to be among the most played songs in the world. The group's new single, "Guiding Lights" (Sony/Legacy) is currently Top 30 on the Billboard Urban Adult Chart. Tickets go on sale to the public on Monday, June 25th at 12Noon.

Their 29th studio album, That's Why God Made The Radio, debuts today at number 3 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart. The acclaimed new album, released June 5th by Capitol/BRI, sold 61,000 copies in the U.S. during its first week.
