A strange faith is brewing for these apocalyptic times. Post-fundamentalist and happy-crazy with a 35-voice choir and worshippers throughout the world, The Church of Earthalujah began in New York City in 2009. The church has cast the global warming devils from the cash machines of JP Morgan Chase and UBS – the Swiss bank that invests in the Koch brothers and climate change skepticism. These churchgoers believe that natural disasters are messages from a living thing and that we should be teaching each other to listen and pray. Earthalujah!

Tickets $17.50 ADV., $20.00 DOS
Concerts start @ 8:00PM, Doors open @ 6:00PM

If you're familiar with bluegrass music, then you're tuned in to some of what Greensky Bluegrass does. They're also known to throw a great party, rock 'n' roll, and (if the critics are to be believed) they have great songs. They are unquestionably a team of friends that traverse the country making music they enjoy. What makes Greensky different than Bluegrass? Poignant rural ballads about real people? Dobro tone that Jerry (Douglas or Garcia) would love? Distortion pedals? Grit and attitude from a whiskey-soaked card game? Indeed, but that's just the tip of the iceberg.

The Cataracs' music and buzz speaks for itself. This songwriting duo and production team of David Singer-Vine, (aka Campa) and Niles Hollowell-Dhar (aka Cyrano) has developed an electro pop sound that combines the dancefloor sensibilities of electronic music with pop melodies, a risqué edge, and Bay Area swagger. These divergent sounds converge effectively when brought together by The Cataracs' energy, sense of humor, and undeniably entertaining chemistry.

The Dangerous Summer
With New Empire & From IndIan Lakes
Tickets $12.00 ADV., $15 DOS
Concert starts @ 7:00PM, Doors open @ 6:00PM

Straightforward, earnest rock music seems to be a contradiction from the direction popular music has strayed as of late. The need for genuine lyrics, purposeful direction, and accessible melodies has been long overdue. Hailing from Ellicott City, MD, alternative rock foursome The Dangerous Summer specializes in crafting throwbacks to the days when music was charged with hope and contained a much-needed brand of sincerity. The band, which takes its moniker from the Hemingway novel of the same name, remembers its humble beginnings, among them its first NYC show, which took place in a basement and included an audience of five. However, that low attendance record soon became a thing of the past once Hopeless Records came calling, finding the band's quintessential rock pleasers just as inviting and impressive as did those few basement patrons.

Two-time Grammy nominee Tommy Emmanuel is one of Australia's most respected musicians. The legendary guitarist boasts a professional career that spans five decades and continues to intersect with some of the finest musicians throughout the world. A household name in his native Australia, Emmanuel has garnered hundreds of thousands of loyal fans worldwide. His unique style, which he simply calls "finger style," is akin to playing the guitar the way a pianist plays a piano, using all 10 fingers. Rather than using a whole band for melody, rhythm, bass, and drum parts, Emmanuel plays all that - and more - on one guitar. Guitar legend Chet Atkins was one of the first to inspire Emmanuel to try this "fingerpicker" style as a child. Decades later, Atkins himself became one of Emmanuel's biggest fans.

Jeffrey Gaines
Opening Act(s): jENNiNGS
Tickets $15.00 Adv. $17.00 DOS
Concert starts @ 8:00PM, Doors open @ 6:30PM

Heralded by Rolling Stone as "an ethereal soul ... insistent, impassioned, full of self-knowledge ... the voice of a new generation," singer-songwriter Jeffrey Gaines grew up in Harrisburg, PA. Raised by parents more inclined to spin soul classics by Aretha and Otis than the New Wave and Brit Rock blasting from their son's room, a teenage Gaines began playing guitar in several local garage bands covering The Who, The Kinks, and The Jam. He soon decided to set out on his own and quickly landed a record deal in 1992, releasing his self-titled debut that same year. The album featured the hit single "Hero in Me" and garnered four stars from the Philadelphia Inquirer. Somewhat Slightly Dazed (1994) and Galore (1998) followed suit in the ensuing years, prompting Interview Magazine to call Gaines's music "soul-searching" and "refreshingly free of jargon, sentiment, or cliché."

Jonah Smith
With special guests
Tickets $15.00
Concert starts @ 7:30PM, Doors open @ 6:00PM

Jonah Smith has been operating as a musical iconoclast for years and is well known in New York as a top-flight songwriter and a powerful, expressive singer. He has dipped his toes into the waters of many scenes and is equally as comfortable performing on a festival stage as he is at a house concert. After getting his start on the Burlington, VT, music scene in the mid-'90s, the soul pop singer-songwriter relocated to Brooklyn around the turn of the millennium. Steadily building up a following with his band (which included bassist Ben Rubin, Bob Reynolds on saxophone, David Soler on guitar, and Marko Djordjevic on drums), he released his first independent albums early in the new decade – Industry Rule (2001) and Beneath the Underdog (2003). The discs garnered glowing feedback but failed to generate a major splash for the aspiring singer-songwriter.
