Panel on Jungian and Freudian Analysis to Follow Tonight's Performance of SECRETS

Following tonight's February 22nd 8pm performance of SECRETS, the Untold Story of Sigmund Freud & Carl Jung, an original play written & directed by Ken Wydro, two noted psychoanalysts will take part in a panel discussion about the careers & philosophies of Freud & Jung. SECRETS dramatizes the intense personal & professional relationship between Sigmund Freud & Carl Gustav Jung in the early years of psychoanalysis, 1907 - 1913 & is based on the 1000 letters shared by both men.

Marvell Rep's NIGHT GAMES Postpones Opening to Feb 23

NIGHT GAMES by Lenny Leibowitz, was originally scheduled to open at Marvell Rep on Thursday, February 14 at 8 PM. It will now be opening Saturday, February 23 at 8 p.m. in its world premiere, adapted from the novella Spiel im Morgengrauen by Arthur Schnitzler.

Marvell Rep Presents NIGHT GAMES, SECRETS and FLIRTATION, Now thru 3/17

The Drama Desk nominated MARVELL REP will present its Winter 2013 Repertory Project, Desire & Delusion: 3 plays in repertory, from February 8 - March 17, at TBG Theatre, 312 West 36th Street. The project will feature the company's first World Premiere, NIGHT GAMES, a new play written & directed by MARVELL REP Artistic Director, Lenny Leibowitz (February 8-March 6), adapted from the novella Spiel im Morgengrauen, by Arthur Schnitzler. NIGHT GAMES will be followed (in repertory) by SECRETS, The Untold Story of Sigmund Freud & Carl Jung, an original play written & directed by Ken Wydro (February 11-March 10) & FLIRTATION written by Arthur Schnitzler& also directed by Lenny Leibowitz (February 19 - March 17, 2013).

FREUD'S LAST SESSION Ends LA Run Tonight; International Productions in the Works

FREUD'S LAST SESSION, the runaway hit play by Mark St. Germain, will end its triumphant limited engagement tonight, February 10th at The Broad Stage in Los Angeles. Starring Judd Hirsch as Sigmund Freud and Tom Cavanagh as C. S. Lewis, FREUD'S LAST SESSION is directed by Tyler Marchant, who helmed the original New York production. The show's west coast premiere is presented by The Broad Stage & Carolyn Rossi Copeland, Robert Stillman and Jack Thomas.

The Jewish Museum Opens Barbara Bloom Exhibition, 3/15

Beginning on March 15, 2013, The Jewish Museum will present As it were ... So to speak: A Museum Collection in Dialogue with Barbara Bloom. Artist Barbara Bloom has devoted her career to questioning the ways we perceive and value objects. With a light touch and subtle wit, she divines the meanings encoded in the things with which we surround ourselves. The Jewish Museum invited Bloom to create an installation drawn from its 25,000 works of ceremonial, decorative, and fine art. Her presentation sets a selection of over 270 pieces in unconventional contexts, and offers visitors new ways to view the Museum and its holdings. As it were ... So to speak: A Museum Collection in Dialogue with Barbara Bloom will be on view through August 4, 2013.

Today, we're featuring Bud Cort circa 1981. Film and stage actor, writer and director, Cort appeared on Broadway as 'Jerry' in 1972's Wise Child. Cort is known for playing 'Harold' in the 1971 film Harold and Maude, as well as the lead in the film Brewster McCloud. Cort's other credits include Endgame, The Chocolate War, Dogma, Pollock, The Twilight Zone, The Secret Diary of Sigmund Freud, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, an appearance on Arrested Development and more.

Taxi Stars Reunite at FREUD'S LAST SESSION

Marilu Henner attended FREUD'S LAST SESSION at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica this past Sunday, January 20th. Afterwards, she stopped backstage to see her "Taxi" co-star, Judd Hirsch, who has been earning rave reviews for his dazzling turn as Sigmund Freud. New York's long-running hit play by Mark St. Germain opened in L.A. on January 16th starring Hirsch and Tom Cavanagh under the direction of Tyler Marchant, who helmed the original New York production.
