TV: In Rehearsal with the Cast of Broadway-Bound THE HEIDI CHRONICLES!

The Heidi Chronicles will begin performances on Monday, February 23, 2015, with an official opening on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Tony Award-winnerPam MacKinnon (Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance, Edward Albee'sWho's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Clybourne Park) will direct. The production will star Golden Globe-winner and six-time Emmy Award-nominee Elisabeth Moss ('Mad Men,' 'Top of the Lake,' Speed-the-Plow), Emmy Award-nomineeJason Biggs ('Orange Is The New Black,' American Pie), Tony Award-nominee Bryce Pinkham (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), and Tracee Chimo (Lips Together, Teeth Apart, 'Orange Is The New Black,' Bad Jews), with Ali Ahn, Leighton Bryan, Elise Kibler, and Andy Truschinski. DOCTOR ZHIVAGO will begin performances on Friday, March 27, 2015, and open on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at 6:30pm, at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). DOCTOR ZHIVAGO is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff (Jersey Boys), with a book by Academy Award nominee Michael Weller (Ragtime), music by Grammy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Lucy Simon (The Secret Garden), lyrics by Tony Award nominee Michael Korie (Grey Gardens) and Emmy Award nominee Amy Powers (Ella Enchanted), and choreography by Tony Award nominee Kelly Devine (Rocky).

HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH Donates $200K to the Hetrick-Martin Institute

Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the hit musical revival and winner of four 2014 Tony Awards now playing at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street), is pleased to announce a third donation has been made to Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI) as part of the show's ongoing partnership with the organization. This donation of $200,000 brings the total raised by Hedwig for HMI to $400,000 in less than one year.

John Lithgow & The Rudin Family Honored Tonight at New 42nd Street's 2015 Gala

The New 42nd Street's annual Gala will be held tonight, January 12 at The New Victory Theater, to honor Tony, Emmy, and Golden Globe Award-winner John Lithgow with the New Victory Arts Award for his work in 'bringing kids to the arts and the arts to kids.' The New 42nd Street will also honor The Rudin Family with the inaugural Marian Heiskell Award for their role in shaping the future of New York City. Glenn Close will serve as Gala honorary chair.

Broadway-Bound SCHOOL OF ROCK to Launch Coast-to-Coast Casting Search

School of Rock-The Musical is launching a coast-to-coast search for its new, Broadway-bound class of pint-sized rock stars, offering the once-in-a-lifetime chance to join the most famous kid band of all time. A massive open casting call will take place in New York on Saturday, January 24 at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway), on the stage where the show is set to have its world premiere later this year. Additional open casting calls for young performers will take place in Los Angeles on January 17 at Screenland Studios (10501 Burbank Blvd.) and Chicago on Saturday, January 24 at Actor's Equity Association (557 W. Randolph Street). All open calls begin at 10:00 a.m. (local time), with sign-in at 9:00 a.m.

Newcomers to Join Elisabeth Moss, Jason Biggs & Bryce Pinkham in THE HEIDI CHRONICLES on Broadway; Full Cast Set!

Producers have announced that Ali Ahn will play the role of Susan Johnston, Leighton Bryan will play the roles of Jill/Debbie/Lisa, Elise Kibler will play the roles of Becky/Clara/Denise, and Andy Truschinski will play the roles of Chris Boxer/Mark/Waiter/Ray in the first Broadway revival of the Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning Wendy Wasserstein play The Heidi Chronicles. This will be the Broadway debut for Ahn and Truschinski, and, with the exception of understudy roles, this will also be the Broadway debut for Bryan and Kibler.

THE ELEPHANT MAN Recoups Capitalization & Breaks Another Box Office Record

The producers of the critically acclaimed new Broadway production of Bernard Pomerance's Tony Award-winning classic The Elephant Man, starring two-time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper, Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Patricia Clarkson and Alessandro Nivola, have announced that the show officially recouped its $3.1 million capitalization costs after 6.5 weeks of performances (following the week ending December 21).
