THE VISIT, Starring Chita Rivera, Begins Tomorrow on Broadway

The Visit, the final musical ever by legendary Tony Award-winning duo John Kander and Fred Ebb, will begin performances at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street) tomorrow, Thursday, March 26 at 8:00pm. The Visit will have an official Opening Night on Thursday, April 23 2015.

DIRTY DANCING Tour Runs Now thru 4/5 at Academy of Music

WOLF HALL: PARTS 1 & 2 Announces $39 General Rush Tickets; Student Rush for $27

The Broadway transfer of The Royal Shakespeare Company's Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2 announced that a same day general rush will be available at the box office of the Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway, between 50th and 51st Streets). Tickets will be available for $39 each, with a limit of two (2) tickets per person.

It's time to "shuffle up and deal" for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS with Broadway Bets, a first-of-its-kind Broadway poker tournament co-chaired by Paul Libin, executive vice president of Jujamcyn Theaters, and Robert E. Wankel, president and co-CEO of The Shubert Organization. Libin is president of BC/EFA's Board of Trustees and Wankel is a longtime trustee.

Alex Sharp Will Host Shubert Foundation's First High School Theatre Festival

The first annual Shubert Foundation High School Theatre Festival for New York City Public Schools will take place on Monday, March 9 at Broadway's Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street) at 7:00 p.m. More than 100 talented students from five select New York City high schools will make their Broadway debuts.

KINKY BOOTS National Tour to Play Kimmel Center, 4/28-5/10

Broadway Philadelphia announced today that an additional performance of THE ILLUSIONISTS - WITNESS THE IMPOSSIBLE, has been added to the one-week engagement of the blockbuster theatrical magic show coming to the Academy of Music on Tuesday, Feb. 24 through Sunday, March 1 due to popular demand! Tony Winner Lena Hall Will Depart HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH This Spring

Hedwig and the Angry Inch's Tony Award winner Lena Hall will play her final performance as Yitzhak on Saturday, April 4. Hall created the role of Yitzhak at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street) earning rave reviews for her performance being called 'excellent,' (New York Times), 'dazzling' (Harper's Bazaar), 'magnificent' (The Chicago Tribune), and 'simply wonderful' (The Hollywood Reporter).

ONCE Opens Today in Toronto Starring An All-Canadian Cast

The Toronto production of the Tony Award-winning 'Best Musical' Once plays performances through May 31, 2015. Performances for Once began on February 10 at the Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto. Press night for Once is today, February 22 at 2PM.

THE ELEPHANT MAN Ends Broadway Run Tomorrow

Three-time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper, Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Patricia Clarkson and Alessandro Nivola will play their final Broadway performance in Bernard Pomerance's Tony Award-winning classic The Elephant Man on Saturday, February 21 after 35 previews and 83 regular performances. Directed by 6-time Tony Award nominee Scott Ellis, the production began performances on November 7, 2014 and officially opened on December 7, 2014 at Broadway's Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street, NYC). The Elephant Man begins a 12 week limited engagement at London's Theatre Royal Haymarket on May 19, 2015 for a limited engagement through August 8, 2015.
