EAT's Illuminating Artists- New Works Series Plays 3 Weeks At TADA, 4/27-5/17

EMERGING ARTISTS THEATRE, Paul Adams, Artistic Director, and Derek Jamison, Associate Artistic Director, present the Illuminating Artists- New Works Series, for three weeks at TADA Theatre. Performances begin Monday, April 27, 2009, and continue through Sunday, May 17, 2009.

DIVORCE! THE MUSICAL Gets Extended Again Through 5/17 At Hudson Mainstage

Rick Culbertson, in association with Lynn Marks and Paradox Entertainment, today announced that DIVORCE! THE MUSICAL has been extended again by popular demand through May 17, 2009, at the Hudson Mainstage Theatre (6539 Santa Monica Blvd.). The world premiere production features music, lyrics and book by 2008 Frederick Loewe Award-winner Erin Kamler (Runway 69 at New Dramatists).

Academy Selects 2009 Film Scholars

The master of the Hollywood montage sequence and the business activities of Twentieth Century-Fox between the years of 1935 and 1965 will be the topics explored by Anne Friedberg and Peter Lev, respectively, who have been selected by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as the ninth pair of Academy Film Scholars.

Bay Street Theater Announces Winter Line-Up Of KIDSTREET

Bay Street Theatre is proud to announce the winter line up of its KIDSTREET: Family Film Series which will take place Saturday mornings at 11am throughout the entire year. These family favorites are both new and classic films presented as they are meant to be seen-on the big screen, and are perfect for kids of all ages. The doors will open at 10:30am on Saturdays, all movies begin at 11am, and all tickets are $7. Despite the tough economic times, Bay Street has not only made the decision to stay open during the cold winter days, but they are also committed to providing low cost entertainment opportunities for the entire community to enjoy.
