ALEXIS GERSHWIN, the acclaimed vocalist, will pay tribute to her uncles with two very special concerts in California next month based on her CD Gershwin Sings Gershwin.

In the great tradition of multitalented stars, Broadway's newest diva Ashley Brown will give a one night only performance at Feinsteins at Loews Regency on Sunday, February 14th at 8:30PM. She is set to perform songs from her first solo jazz vocal album, 'Speak Low'.

Shirley Jones, star of theatre and film, will make here UK premiere when she brings her one woman show, 'Shirley Jones in Concert,' to the West End's Arts Theatre, www.whatsonstage.com is reporting. The concert will run February 22nd through April 3rd.

Pittsburgh CLO is pleased to announce that 12-year-old Joseph Serafini of Bethel Park, Pa., will play the lead role in the 2010 Summer Season production of Oliver!

In just the span of a few short years, Kelli O'Hara has become one of Broadway's most beloved women of musical theater. With three Tony® Award nominations in a row under her belt (The Light in the Piazza, The Pajama Game and, most recently, the critically-acclaimed revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific), the revered stage star is now getting ready to debut an updated version of her much-lauded cabaret act from New York's Café Carlyle at the Orange County Performing Arts Center's Samueli Theater on January 21. The intimate series of concerts will feature not only some familiar Broadway hits but also a few songs close to the singer-actor's heart, some of which can be found on her debut album Wonder of the World. She will also sprinkle the show with a few stories and anecdotes from her life: from her early childhood in Oklahoma to her debut on the Great White Way. O'Hara recently sat down for a quick chat with BroadwayWorld to discuss her early influences, her distinguished Broadway roles, and even some of her guilty pleasures.

Michael Michetti, co-artistic director of The Theatre at Boston Court, will direct, with choreography by Lee Martino and musical direction by Darryl Archibald.

The opening show of our 2009-2010 season has been decided! We'll kick off with the classic 1958 Tony Award winning Best Musical THE MUSIC MAN December 10th-14th. Well known for the 1962 movie version that starred Robert Preston and Shirley Jones, this show has been a favorite for decades. Audition info is included down below.

Additional casting has been announced for the upcoming THE MUSIC MAN concert produced by the National Symphony Orchestra Pops in the NSO Pops series. Todd A. Horman will play the role of Marcellus and Joseph Serafini will play Winthrop. Horman and Serafini join Shirley Jones, the original Marian from the film version of The Music Man, as well as Rebecca Luker and Patrick Cassidy as Harold Hill.

On November 27 and 28, 2009 Patrick Cassidy will join Shirley Jones, Rebecca Luker, and the National Symphony Orchestra Pops for NSO Pops: The Music of The Music Man. These concert reviews of songs from Meredith Willson's The Music Man will be led by Principal Pops Conductor Marvin Hamlisch and will also feature the City Choir of Washington. The performances will take place during Thanksgiving weekend in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall on Friday, November 27 at 1:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., and on Saturday, November 28 at 8 p.m.
