Parade is the tragic, true story of the trial and lynching of a man wrongly accused of murder. This story is brought to an emotional and theatrical life by acclaimed playwright Alfred Uhry and Jason Robert Brown, one of Broadway's most promising young composers. Daring, innovative and bold, Parade won well-earned Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Score in 1999. Its subject matter offers a moral lesson about the dangers of prejudice and ignorance that should not be forgotten. Appropriate for ages 16+ (due to adult subject matter, but no harsh language).

Mysterium Theater presents the Project Gutenberg Adaptation in Two Acts of The Importance of Being Earnest, a classic comedy of manners, by Oscar Wilde, in which two flippant young men, in order to impress their respected beloveds, pretend that their names are 'Ernest,' which both young ladies believe confers magical qualities on the possessor. It was first performed for the public on February 14, 1895 at the St. James' Theatre in London, and is regarded by many critics and scholars as being the wittiest play in the English language. It is being presented as part of the Mysterium Theater 5th Anniversary celebration! Produced by Marla Ladd, and directed by Kaitlyn Tice.

Veteran professional actor and acclaimed acting coach Vernee Watson makes her directorial debut at the 2014 Hollywood Fringe Festival with INDEPENDENCE, a wise, funny, and affecting family drama from Tony- and Pulitzer-nominated playwright Lee Blessing. Amphibian Stage Productions announces Next Leap 2014: All That Jazz~Guilty Pleasure Tour on October 3 2014. The annual fundraising event promises to be "the best time you never said you had," by reveling in guilty pleasures and the New Orleans jazz culture with honorary chair Adonis Rose. The Next Leap 2014 Guilty Pleasure Tour will be held at Amphibian's home at 120 South Main Street in Fort Worth.
