Hoxton Hall today announces the full cast for Female Parts Shorts: A Woman Alone, The Immigrant and A Mother - a collection of short plays directed by Karena Johnson, Artistic Director of Hoxton Hall. Johnson directs Gehane Strehler in A Woman Alone, Clare Perkins in The Immigrant and Rebecca Saire in A Mother. The three monologues will be performed in sequence, opening on Thursday 15 March, with previews from Tuesday 13 March, running until Saturday 31 March.

Set in the real life town of Boring, Oregon in 1996, Everything Sucks! is a quirky, funny coming of age story that revolves around Boring High School's A/V Club and Drama Club— two crews of nerdy-edgy outsiders, who join forces to make a movie and endure the purgatory known as high school. The series stars Peyton Kennedy (American Fable, The Captive) and Jahi Winston (The New Edition Story) as students Kate Messner and Luke O'Neil, with Patch Darragh (Sully, Boardwalk Empire) and Claudine Nako (Grimm) as their respective parents. The 10-episode, half-hour dramedy is created by Ben York Jones (Like Crazy, Newness) and Michael Mohan (Save the Date, Pink Grapefruit), who will both serve as executive producers.
Dates have been announced for the Boise return engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The musical will make its much-anticipated return to Boise to play the Morrison Center June 12-14, 2018.

Returning to the Blue Note Hawaii stage by popular demand is guitar legend Lee Ritenour. The local artists this month include Honolulu-based jazz and hip hop drummer Dae Han, the incomparable Willie K and beautiful songstress Raiatea Helm. There are also powerful tributes to Whitney Houston featuring Ginai, Quincy Jones and John Coltrane with Mike Lewis & Friends. There's reggae on tap with a celebration of Bob Marley's birthday in what promises to be an amazing evening of music. Josh Kaye & Friends will pay homage to Nina Simone featuring vocalist Sherry Graham.

Little Angel Theatre presents The Singing Mermaid, written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Lydia Monks, in collaboration with Royal & Derngate this spring. One day, the singing mermaid is tempted away from all of her sea creature friends and her peaceful home at Silversands to join a travelling circus. The audiences love to hear her sing, but the poor mermaid was tricked! Instead of the swimming pool she was promised, she is kept in a small tank by the wicked circus master Sam Sly, and she soon longs to return to the freedom of the sea.
