The Purple Rose Theatre Company (PRTC) will open its 28th season with "Diva Royale", a world premiere comedy by founder Jeff Daniels. Tickets are on sale now.

In 2009 Jeff Daniels was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actor in "God of Carnage," the Broadway hit that won Best Play that year. This month The Purple Rose Theatre Company (PRTC), which was founded by Daniels, brings "God of Carnage" to Chelsea.

Mid-Michigan's award winning professional theatre company, Williamston Theatre, located at 122 S. Putnam Street in downtown Williamston, presents Old Love by Norm Foster. Performances begin Thursday, May 15 and run through Sunday, June 15.
