Cheryl Henson (President, The Jim Henson Foundation); Kevin Clash (Elmo's Emmy-winning creator and Muppet veteran); and Carole Demas (Broadway star, children's television icon from The Magic Garden) have joined the advisory board of The New York Children's Theater Festival, it was announced today by Michael Shawn Lewis, co-founder of The Festival.
Tony Award and Emmy Award nominated actor John Tartaglia, the creator and producer of the Drama Desk-nominated Off-Broadway hit John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean, will appear at Gymboree (327 West 14th Street, NYC) on Tuesday, August 16 at 12:30 PM. Along with the stars of ImaginOcean -- the adorable puppets Dorsel, Bubbles and Tank -- Tartaglia will meet and greet fans, sign autographs, and perform songs from ImaginOcean.

The Drama Desk-nominated Off-Broadway family hit musical John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean, continues to expand on the seas with the fourth installation of the show to debut aboard Royal Caribbean's The Freedom of the Seas in May 2011. The show can now be seen on: Oasis of the Seas (opened November 2009); Allure of the Seas (opened December 2010); and Liberty of the Seas (opened January 2011).
Pace's Actor's Studio Drama School celebrates its 13th Repertory Season, including an All-star MFA Candidate line-up consisting of 20 actors, 4 directors and 3 playwrights. There will be free theater performances open to the general public including world premieres of Night Bames, Sharp Edges and Starfishes.
