After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles, and Sacramento, California Musical Theatre has confirmed casting for all six shows in the 66th Music Circus season. Now in its second year, Michael-Leon Wooley will once again be the host and creative force behind the series that showcases the best of Broadway as performed by 'triple threat' Broadway performers who are now living and working in L.A.
On May 19, 2014, Vitello's Jazz and Supperclub presents Triple Threat, a monthly Broadway concert series, featuring some of LA's finest Broadway talent. This theme for this month's concert is Disney, and will feature Broadway singers performing songs from both Disney movies and musicals. Hosted by the voice of Louis the Alligator from Disney's The Princess and the Frog, Michael-Leon Wooley (Little Shop of Horrors, Five Guys Named Moe, The Music Man), the concert will feature performers Sharon Wilkins (Seussical, The Life, All Shook Up), J. Elaine Marcos (Annie, A Chorus Line, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert), Darren Ritchie (Dracula, Wonderland, Les Miserables), Rhett George (Sweet Charity, Memphis, Aida), Eric B.
