Bill Kenwright's 'Dazzling' (Sunday Telegraph) production of the international smash hit musical Blood Brothers continues its 2019 Spring tour welcoming three new cast members Alexander Patmore, Joel Benedict and Paula Tappenden into the roles of Mickey, Eddie and Mrs Lyons respectively. They will join actress Linzi Hateley who leads the cast in the seminal role of Mrs Johnstone at Bournemouth Pavilion on 26 February 2019.

The Royal Shakespeare Company has today announced further casting for its forthcoming double-bill of Restoration plays, John Vanbrugh's The Provoked Wife and Thomas Otway's Venice Preserved. The Provoked Wife, directed by Phillip Breen, plays in repertoire from the 2 May 2019 with Venice Preserved, directed by Prasanna Puwanarajah, running from 24 May 2019 in the Swan Theatre.

This summer Seattle Shakespeare Company brings free Shakespeare to our region's parks with productions of Twelfth Night and Romeo and Juliet. Both shows will start performances on July 11 and will perform in 15 different park venues through August 11 including a new venue at Wiggums Hollow park in Everett. Madison Shakespeare Company announces the premiere of Henry the Fourth Part Two at the Bartell Theatre, with performances February 8-16. In the sequel to Henry the Fourth, England is thrown into chaos by rebellion, sibling rivalry, and the most devious ruffians who ever skipped out on a bar bill. The production is directed by Francisco C. Torres and features Sam D. White as Falstaff, Brian McGowan as Prince Hal, and Tom Kastle as King Henry.

English Touring Theatre and Theatre Royal Stratford East today announce the full cast for Ned Bennett's bold new production of Peter Shaffer's critically-acclaimed classic, psychological thriller Equus. Bennett directs Robert Finch (Frank Strang/Horse), Keith Gilmore (Harry Dalton/Nurse/Horse), Ethan Kai (Alan Strang), Syreeta Kumar (Dora Strang/Horse), Norah Lopez Holden (Jill Mason/Horse), Ruth Lass (Hester Salomon/Horse), Ira Mandela Siobhan (Young Horseman/Nugget) and Zubin Varla (Martin Dysart) completes the cast. The production opens at Theatre Royal Stratford East on 21 February, with previews from 15 February and runs until 23 March prior to embarking on a UK tour to Cambridge Arts Theatre, Theatre Royal Bath, Bristol Old Vic, The Lowry, Northern Stage and Yvonne Arnaud Theatre.

Random Access Theatre opens its 2019 season with the World Premiere of Miranda from Stormville by Adam Bertocci. The production, a modern retelling of Shakespeare's The Tempest, runs March 14 - 24 at the IRT Theater in the West Village. Artistic Director and co-founder, Jennifer Sandella directs.
