HAMILTON might not be headed to Broadway this season, but it could be making its way to the small screen soon.

HAMILTON began performances on Tuesday, January 20 and has been extended three times, through May 3, with an official press opening on Tuesday, February 17. Following yesterday's reports that Lin-Manuel Miranda's new musical might be making the move to Broadway before the Tonys cut-off this season, The Public Theater has announced a third extension today for the world premiere production.

According to the New York Post, Lin-Manuel Miranda's new musical Hamilton, currently in an extended run through April 5 at the Public Theater, might cut its off-Broadway stay short in order to open on Broadway before April 23rd, the Tony Awards cutoff date.

Following last night's highly anticipated first preview of HAMILTON at the Public, TodayTix hosted the exclusive afterparty at the Public's Library Bar. 'On Broadway' is an experience currently being offered to young performers across Australia. Headed by four seasoned Broadway professionals, this opportunity allows both professional (over 18) amateur (under 18) to learn from these music theatre masters and also audition in front of them as part of a competition that enables the winners to travel to New York to meet agents, see shows, meet cast and receive advice on obtaining an 0-1 visa to potentially relocate and work in the U.S.

R.Evolucion Latina's 2013 BWS program is celebrating cultural exchange for the first time awarding 52 scholarships, 18 of which were given to international students from Peru and Colombia inviting them to participate in the program and join students from NYC. The educational empowerment program has been re-designed to create well rounded performing artists by immersing students in classes of the 3 disciplines that are the components of musical theatre - acting, dance and voice. Classes will take place at the National Institute of dance in Harlem and students been that have selected will commit to 2 intense weeks of training.
